Just recently I got a house phone, only had it for a month or two but almost every day I get calls from telemarketers. I think like the 2nd or 3rd day we had the number in service the calls started. Is there a list of newly activated phone numbers that they get or something? I know sometimes companys will sell or give your number to other companies, but anyway is the Do Not Call List effective at all? If it is I'm gonna try and sign up. But until then I'm gonna freak on the next a$$hole that calls me while I'm at home trying to eat my dinner in peace

Has anyone experienced anything weird at the age of 25? I am going through this panic and I can't really pinpoint what I am panicing about. My thoughts are scattered and I can't seem to get my brain to spit out the right words.

Someone told me that when they hit 25, they freaked out. That is only a few months away for me. Has anyone else gone through anything like this?

I can't understand the people that work in the fast food establishments anymore, they seem to be speaking jibberish. I'm glad that their working, but if you want to get a better job, don't you think you need to learn how to communicate intellegently?

I HATE my living situation. My flatmates are vile. I think they're selfish, disgusting, and I don't enjoy putting up with their group sex and subsequent "guests". I actually wanna puke when I see them. Live in landlords! Anyway, should I forfeit my deposit and leave right away, losing $1000? In the grand scheme of my life it is not too disastrous...?

I just didnt realise how extreme they are before moving in.

This is for all my Bartenders and Waiters out there. Who are the worst tippers? ( Indians, Blacks, Hispanics,Anyone from the UK) Let me know what you think! I hope this is not offending anyone! I worked in the service industry off and on for the past 5 years and it just baffles me on how consistent certain people are at being cheap!

off from work for six weeks and after a couple of weeks, I found myself pacing from window to window and started noticing my neighbors for the first time. I learned that one neighbor, when checking his mail, opens the flap, gets his mail out and then looks in and closes it, then repeats this six times, exactly.. My other neighbor's teenager, used to sneak her guy friend home while her mom was at work (yes, I told) I have a teenage daughter. And the funniest one, my neighbor behind us. He is an older guy, and I noticed that for three days in a row, he would go out early in the morning and dig in his back yard. I hadn't seen his wife during the past week and I was getting a little nervous. Well, finally, he dragged a decent sized bush over there and planted it in that hole (I almost called the cops)but, thankfully I saw his wife that same evening, alive and healthy..

Give me someone who is like 300 lbs or more, who doesn't overeat (even just a little)! I don't really buy that, I can be honest, I'm 5'0 and over 200 lbs, I'm fat because I really overeat like crazy and I know that, I do blame a lot of my recent huge gain on stress. Due to the stress I overeat and become more stressed.

I'm pointing out that these morbidly obese people probably do eat large portions without realizing it, because there's skinny or medium sized people who overeat and they don't neccessarily know portion size.

So why would a really overweight person know or practice portion control?

Yes, thyroid problems and genetics do play a part but if you look at how most of those people eat, you could tell they could do better.

Why do people say the following a lot more than they used to :
1) Thank you so much (usually said by females )
2) ....and such (at the end of a sentence, apparently similar to "etc")
3) random ( used as a hodge-podge adjective for almost anything)
4) ...or whatever (used at the end of a sentence, apparently aimlessly). For example: "I went to the store today, or whatever"
5) "OK, so..." (used to start off a sentence).

Ok, so, like, thank you so much for any random help and such that you can provide for me, or whatever.
