i'm 23. i moved in with my sister 2 years to go to college where she lives. now that i graduated, I hate my job (a retail hardware store). My sister is a difficult person to get along with. She likes to make me mad, and she invites her boyfriend to spend the night which makes me feel very uncomfortable as I have a strict set of morals. I try not to let it bother my but it always does.
I know they are going to get back together, and i dont want to see him anymore or see him spend the night anymore. I want to move back home tomorrow, quit my job, and just spend the whole day driving 7 hours home to my parents house. That's how much i DONT want to be around him.
I love my sister, but she's never going to change... he's such a bad boyfriend to her, they're a bad match, but she doesn't get it, she says shes lonely and that some attention is better than no attention. Part of me moved to help her get rid of him, but that didn't work. Should I just pack up my bags and leave tomorrow?

I'm sorry, I know many can't handle an opposing view point but I'm not afraid to voice my right and I'd like to hear yours.

We are asked to have a conversation on "RACE" by black leaders all the time, included Mayor Young, JJ Jackson etc..

Why is there BET...and not white TV? (it's the name)

Why is there a Ms Black America contest and NOT Ms. White America Contest?

Why is there a a United ***** College Fund and not a United White College fund?

If you insist on affirmative action on being the law of the land...CAN WE START WITH THE NBA, NFL and BASEBALL and Motown Records..ALL Billion Dollar Industries?

Or is there a double standard???????

Go ahead and throw mud and say your nasty words, racist etc...Go ahead...but America is waking up and we're TIRED of this BS.

Could both these traits be attributed to insecurity, stupidity, or just plain blindness to one's own ability? If it is a result of ignorance then how could someone go about resolving this problem?

If you are going to say listen to what others say... I would say that only has SOME merit seeing that people can be dumb sometimes.

What if you get criticized for being over/under confident for contradictory things from different people? Is this because you hold an unstable self-concept, or due to a mental instability of some sort? (Bi-polar disorder, Borderline personality etc.)

Yes, it works some times with some things. However, there are MANY problems that need to be dealt with directly or indirectly rather than be ignored. Some people just don't get it. Any ideas as to why this is?

I get made fun of, becuz i'm light-skinned for my ethnicity
ever since i was a kid, people make comments
and call me ''Whitey" and still do!
(I'm also the lightest in my family, so i didnt like being the one that frgn GLOWS IN THE DARK)

i even try to put those tanning lotions , so that i could look more ''like them'', but still, people question my ethnicity

i don't even have friends who are my ''ethnicity''...sometimes i think that since i dont quite look exactly like them, that it makes them think twice, cuz i dont look like i ''fit in''
, i dont wanna stand out, i wanna BLEND in
(and i Want friends that r the same ethnicity, its a culture thing)

k im not no biaaatch, and i'm easy-going friendly person

before you get slung off...then when you do how do people get back on again sometimes within the day....i've had violations for probably saying things which may have been unfair...but were non the less only my opinion. i didn't swear at anyone...just didn't always agree..but i did base my answers and opinions on facts with which i had first hand knowledge.... but just how do these people get back on....some of the liveliest and most interesting have been removed lately.

We're heading to a world culture.It's isn't bad as such but English language came from so far to achieve a degree of perfection and clarity.Now today American Hip-Pop slang is transforming young British at a point that it's getting difficult for their own parent to understand them.

Slowly but surely, a new border is being created but this doesn't seam to interest minister Blaire and others.They rather send young English to die in Iraq instead of helping British English culture.Paradoxically if true Oxford English must survive one day in it essence, it will be in countries like Russia, Sweden,Belgium.

watched an interesting program about the end of the world and it convinced me we only have 5 years left and then the earth will start new. It didn't scare me but more than anything brought me a bit of comfort knowing this, but now I'm sitting here wondering what should be my first course of action what to change first.

So I decided I would ask the community to see what you guys would do?

I am the best looking kid in my class, the next best person is a guy who cannot talk straight and look like a cross between a fish and a bear and then hit by a hammer. I am one of the smartest kids, top 5 in a class of 100. I am eloquent and well spoken, I am witty, nice, carring, social skills. I dress very expensive and I drive expensive cars. I live in a mansion(for some reason other teens love friends that are rich) I can make jokes. I am athletic, skinny, tall, excellent shape.

But i still do not see why I am not one of the most popular kids.

also, i am very into business and politics. I have made stock picks that have beat the Lipper Average, and I am only 14!. I bought apple at 50, Exxon at 50, premcor at 20, Boeing at 50. And now those stocks have all double or more.

Gladstonebury is apparently attracting too old a crowd, Why how about the bleedingly obvious


Ie it was always the case that the older half with big jobs purchased the tickets.

The younger crowd without the like £150 just to get in and £200-£300 cash needed inside


Used to hop the fence and as well as that the entry fee was cheaper. Much cheaper say 1/3 of the price a decade ago.

Everyone was happy with that arrangement.

The tickets sold out, the youngsters had the thrill of sneaking in (like the older lot who now paid did when they were young).


the security did very well in £5 per person bribes, beer, joints and kisses off girls to let people in. Created a community feeling, the youngsters added to the atmosphere and all the stalls did far better business and the charities did well.

Also no chain store companies taking anythign over like Carling pushing out indi

I just spent two weeks with my best friend who lives out of state, and my plane leaves friday night. Her mom was a complete doll and I want to know what I should get her as a thnkyou gift thats under 20$, but not flowers because she already has some. Thankssssssss

Have you ever pondered about this?...have you ever felt that life does not have another meaning but destruction and sadness, hurt, and betrayal?..Why are WE humans helping our world crumble to chaos?..why are we not willing to change?..are we all waiting for a wake up call?. a turning point in our lives, such as a death in your family , a traumatic event, to make us change, and become better?
