Well, there are some philosophers that are "teleologists". They believe that there are circumstances that ineveitably lead to one result. Therefore, despite what we do, the ultimate end is the same. I think that's a little extreme, but that's one option.
Another option is that they are deceiving themselves because they don't want to take responsiblity for an issue either because of the way it reflects on them, or they are lazy, etc.

I think that there are many, many factors, all dependinmg on the sort of problem or situation, but narrowing down and generalizing....
People have the need to completely dodge any sort of responsibility, taking situations and problems on there own back may lead them to look or feel a certain way, which may not always turn out to be a good thing and they are afraid of this damaging their self image or relations with others.
Its an insecurity within people.......?

Of course people don't believe that ignoring a problem is a universal solution. I just don't know, out the billions of problems around, which to tackle next.

Greetings. i'm not particularly at ninety 8-ninety 9%, yet I do believe that is probable that there is universal salvation interior the tip, and that the place English bibles use "everlasting" (Matt 25:40 six) to describe punishment it truly is a mistranslation or misinterpretation. some pupils end this from the Greek itself (see first hyperlink, admittedly outdoors my technical wisdom) yet i think of it truly is picked up in context, via noting the proportional punishment (paying back a debt) defined in Matt 18:21-35 or Luke 12:fifty 8-59. And from the elementary-sense theory that a superbly loving God does not be much less merciful or much less honest than we would be. I do think of that something painful awaits people who die with out the repentance and willingness to forgive others that pass hand in hand with accepting God's mercy. i believe if one calls for "what's rightfully his" particularly of embracing God's mercy and reflecting it to others, one would in basic terms get it, till he has paid each and every penny. yet interior the tip, God will reconcile all issues to Himself. we can not push aside punishment altogether if we take the Gospels to be non-fiction money owed. The threats are there, yet i think of they are of the form a loving earthly verify makes, for a newborn's maximum suitable stable, whilst the newborn won't respond to a gentler mindset. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it truly is inspired via love, and reconciliation is the main suitable objective, if not in this existence then possibly the subsequent. that's what i'd anticipate out of the God revealed in Luke 15 (as an occasion). yet i'm not particularly as constructive as you're. possibly there is extra going on between God and devil, the floor policies of which we don't recognize, the stakes of that are possibly very extreme. You and that i are squarely interior the minority of path between modern Christians. I do think of the case for universal salvation merits extra interest, exceptionally as a results of fact it performs a function in making use of many removed from the religion, via offending their consciences. At a minimum it would be acknowledged as an argument Christians can conform to disagree approximately.

To ignore a problem keeps people from stopping and taking a close look at themselves. It's easier to play dumb and follow the crowd.
Only thing is, many aren't playing.

They are maybe afraid of what will happen next and that for they chose not to resolve the problem. In some cases they are 100% sure that in any way they will try to resolve the problem it will fail and choose to ignore it.

Because so many people find a need to believe in religion instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. It is easier to be clueless.
