The police are getting nowhere, and the parents worldwide campaign has done absoluteley nothing what so ever in helping find madeline
Theres many programmes on television where psychics actually locate missing people, most of them have been murdered but wouldnt it make sense to ask a psychic...they have nothing else, and i think it needs to be solved because this case needs to be put at rest.

Dryers, air conditioning, indoor malls, microwaves, fast food, cell-phones, blackberries, 2-3 cars/family, swimming pools etc. etc. etc.

N. Americans also use more electricity and water than any other nation in the world.

People in other countries (I don´t mean just the "3rd-world") don´t have all of these things, yet they are just as content, and usually healthier. How important are these things to you? Would you be willing to give them up?

at work a massager comes in,
and the list is not full up because lots of people are on holiday, they need to fill it up so the massager can get her money,
they havnt even asked and i am sitting right in front off them.
i think cos im 19 they think i dont need it,

i have often wondered why people (or their parents) with perfectly good and decent ethnic names choose to append a Judeo-Christian prefix.

as an example, the ethnic chinese (even those without any affiliation to Christianity) do this. e.g. Wong Su-Yi becomes Sarah Wong.

the usual reason given is that it's "easier to pronounce/remember/call". but i wonder if there are any deeper issues they are grappling with. is it possible that having a so-called Christian name more closely identifies a person with being Caucasian, with all the perceived "superiority" it implies? a post-colonial phenomena perhaps?

i don't get it. do you?

Let's face it, nobody wants women hanging around selling sex in dangerous streets. Why not have legal brothels, where women are safe and receive health checks? The profession exists, always has, and won't go away, so we might as well be mature about it. Do you agree? If not, why not?

I don't think so, but every year the media and sponsers and stuff have a list of MEN & WOMEN whom they deem as THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE . . . everyday though, is it just me? or do you also, see average people walking down the street or out in public on a daily basis or know some people that are 100x's better looking than Scarlet Johanson or George Clooney?!

At school (college) the other day i found racial slurs written on the chair that i usually sit in. My initial reaction of course was to beat someone's face in. But then again that is a lose/lose situation for me because if i make use of violence that fuels the stereotypes even more so. So what do i do with the anger then?

First of all, if you are going to give your opinion please be respectful. Saying things that are rude against such groups will get you nowhere.
Okay, I am going to be a freshman in college this coming fall and I still have not made up my mind on whether or not to join a sorority. I talked with the Greek Coucil Reps and such and they seemed like great people. At the school I will be attending, hazing is not a problem as it is strictly forbidden and punishable so I am not worried about that.
My problem is that I have been an avid member of my debate team throughout highschool and I am planning to join the team in college.
Do you think a sorority will take up too much time?
I am also very against drinking/drugs/excessive partying...
help please :)

wheel of a car. It's getting harder and harder for me to control my temper every time I get cut off in traffic, or some jerk blows their horn the second a light turns green. What can I do to divert this anger I have, besides give up driving?
