I've never been to Malaysia, but I met a Malaysian woman, and she was an extremely kind, thoughtful person. Because of her, I have a great impression of Malaysians.

I lived in Penang for about a decade (it was my first home), so I have a lot of fond memories. I know that xenophobic Americans often think of it as a Muslim country and therefore worthy of hate, and most Americans don't know anything about it at all.

When I think of Malaysia I think of rich, lush, green vegetation, exotic temples, delicious foods and delectable aromas, stunningly beautiful women and an element of danger.
I'm a writer ... who has never been to Malaysia.

In my experience, Malays have a great sense of humour and are easygoing and laid back. The only thing I don't like is that they seem to have no concept of queuing and always push in front of me!
