. . . . I don't think so, but every year the media and sponsers and stuff have a list of MEN & WOMEN whom they deem as THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE . . . everyday though, is it just me? or do you also, see average people walking down the street or out in public on a daily basis or know some people that are 100x's better looking than Scarlet Johanson or George Clooney?!

People do Polls and Surveys for EVERYTHING these days. I like to do them for fun, no one is judging really anything. I love Scarlett and I love George. I don't think there is such a thing as the most beautiful man or woman in the world-we are all equally beautiful in our own way. The media does it for attention basically, that's all it is.

Those lists are based on charisma too, not just looks. Ive seen tons of really good looking people but average good lucking people don't sell magazines, or else they'd just have unknown models on there.

I believe that beauty is in the ye of the beholder as corny and old fashioned as it sounds. I meet beautiful women all the time who have the nastiest attitudes and the most bourgeois dispositions. I disagree with these lists also, but they are done for prestige and publicity and ratings. Really, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and many times one's standard of beauty is vastly different from someone else's. As for me? I look at the beauty within first. If someone looks good on the inside, then no matter what they look like on the outside, they are attractive in my book.

There is no such thing as the most beautiful person - male or female, because different ethnicities, different cultures and different people within those, have their own idea of what consitutes beauty. What one may see as attractive, desirable, another might see as a flaw.
