Are people like myself sick & tired of working 40+ hours a week while work shy spongers sit on there ****'s and hold there hands out.It seems if u know how to play the system then there is no need to get employment. Yet its the tax payer who always seems to get punished in the wallet when the goverment is short of a few ££. Surley if we scrapped this "charity " it would make people get of there arses and get a job...If they have children to feed what better excuse to look for work !!

I was born here, but have known people who had to go through all those steps, but I forget. And others seem to think they give them out like lolly pops in the candy store. Please explain it to those less educated?

Let's say one has a LOT of $$$; would it be possible for someone to buy a street and give it his name? I know that usually street names are given of people who were famous in their field, and dead, but there are street names that are given with people
still living. What's your opinion on that? Would it be possible? I would think the council of citizens would have to be informed and some kind of survey done.

My husband says no way, he is doing what he has been called to do. I say, we have driven up to 500 miles round trip, and given many weekends for rehersals and weddings, and it would be nice to be paid at least a token amount.

I work with a bunch of extremely overweight women who make fun of a redhead girl I work with. The redhead has a nice curvy figure, beautiful green eyes, and the sweetest personality you've ever seen yet they crack jokes about her and call her names like pippy, ginger, ugly, and wendys poster child. I told them that I thought she was VERY attractive and they all said I was crazy. They also refer to her as the redheaded step child. I just don't get why these women taunt her. She is a very good person, very attractive, and more intelligent than all those women combined. If anyone is ugly it's these womens attitudes. Why are people so ignorant? I just hate to see a good person get treated this way.

Before I continue, let me say that I am asking this question simply out of curiosity, not arrogance.

The word technology, according to Dictionary.com is defined as “the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science.”

Technology is not just confined to modern conveniences like computers, television, ipods, and automobiles. Technology pertains to any physical advancement within society. Even the horse an buggy, which the Amish use, is a form of technology. So how do they determine, what is right and wrong in terms of usage. I know the Bible pretty well, and I’m virtually positive, it says nothing about technology being prohibited or restricted.
