Pro-Choice all the way.
I don't believe that there is any stigma to aborting a fetus in the 1st 3 months, I don't believe it is more than a mass of growing pre-human.
However, I do understand those who do & to them, I answer that I would still be pro-choice as the mother's health is more important at that point than the "potential" human.
Besides - we are sooo over populated - let us be pro-choice for those who can mentally handle it and be caring to those who have children - and rear those new children to be pro-active and educated - then we can BREAK the whole cycle and there will no longer be an abortion debate except for rape etc......

Definently, Pro-Choice.
A lot of these Pro-Life people seem to disregard that a lot of women are raped & end up pregnant as opposed to the girl just plain sleeping around. It's our body, so it's our choice.
Personally, I would never have an abortion but I think there's enough orphans & kids in the foster care system. & some children are not brought up in the best possible environment. I know there is the option to put the child up for adoption, but what about the duration of the pregnancy? Some women simply can't afford to take time off work because they support themselves &/or their families.
Not everyone is capable of caring for a baby or lasting the entire duration of the pregnancy. It's our body, so we should have the choice!

Pro-Life. It is not the baby's fault the mother is a tramp and can't leave her legs shut. It is the mothers body yes, but she makes choices that create new life, in a new body. Snuffing out that life is murder, no matter how you try to justify it. It's a shame that a small life can be an inconvenience, and so the mother just kills the baby.
In cases of rape, incest, etc... This would still be murder. I am not saying it would be easy on the mother to get attached to the baby, but I believe she should have it, and give it up for adoption.

I'm (I suppose) pro-choice. Personally, I'd never have an abortion because I think it's one of the most disgusting things a woman can do (I liken it to murder.), but who am I to tell someone else to do with their body? In the rare case where a woman is raped and actually conceives, I'd say it's OK (Thank God I've never been in situation, and I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like.), although I think giving birth and adopting the baby out would be a better option, unless the woman had some type of nervous breakdown during pregnancy because she was carrying the child of a rapist. I'm interested in talking to women who have conceived a child out of rape, and find out what they did. I'm willing to bet the vast majority of them took one look at their baby and decided to keep it. In the case of a mother having medical problems and having a baby would guarantee her death, of course she should have an abortion. However, medicine is not an exact science, and nobody can guarantee just from doing a few tests that the continued pregnancy would kill the woman. I had what a team of specialists at St. John Hospital in Detroit thought was an ectopic pregnancy. After ultrasounds, blood tests and exams, they wanted to do surgery to remove it before it ruptured. I opted against it. That "ectopic pregnancy" turned three in March and is currently at home with my husband, eating Chef Boyardee for lunch.
In the case of women using abortion as birth control--who am I to judge? I could say that I hope they go to hell when they die, but then again--who am I to judge? I'll leave that up to the man upstairs and just hope and pray these women become infertile and aren't able to ever have children.

Pro-choice all the way! It's just like you said, what if some 16 year old girl was raped by her father and needed to get an abortion so she doesn't have some mutant child? People need to put every situation into place here. I do not think though that abortion should be a Get out of Labor Free Card though, I think there needs to be good reason behind the abortion.

Both. I greatly value my freedom to make choices, and stand ready to defend that freedom if necessary, so I am certainly pro-choice. I also greatly value the life of every human being, so I am pro-life. I am of course specifically opposed to certain choices which are destructive to society, such as the choice to steal my property, the choice to kill other human beings, etc. Therefore I am not pro-abortion, which consists of the intentional, premeditated destruction of a living human being.

Pro-choice, of course!
As a man, it isn't my place to tell a woman in another state (whom I have never even met) how to live her life. It is not my place to make a life changing decision for anyone, no matter how intense or how passionate or how Christian I am.
If I could make that kind of difference in the world, just based on my opinion, wouldn't I just tell all unmarried and unprotected people to abstain from sex? Wouldn't I also tell smokers to stop smoking? wouldn't I tell people not to waste their vote on a Republican because we can't afford another deficit?
But since I cannot convince everyone in the United States just by yelling at them, I just mind my own business.

Pro-choice. Sure, aborition is terrible, it's disgusting. But it is the women's body. There for, her choice.
I think it's very rude to say something along the lines of "it's the woman's fault if she is a tramp and can't keep her legs closed." Excuse me? Your trash. Yes, give me, and everyone in here who has an opinion a thumbs down. Because they DONT agree with you? The person who asked this question, asked it for the world's opinion, it's totally hypocritical to degrade them because they have an opinion.
