Why is it that kids and teenagers are violent? What is it that makes them violent? I am writing a paper in which I have to argue why teenagers become violent.

From my last question on wanting to be an inspiration to people and help people.I've very offended by this person's ignorant answer.

"yea OK, better tell us when you had this urge to think you could be an inspiration to all .lets see you want to help people start with the homeless on the streets or the kids that are addicted to crack and think it's the new vitamin C -better yet all the boys coming home with no limbs or in body bags."

What makes me mad is: All these things are NOT my fault. You know those kids addicted to crack well i can't help them unless they are willing to help themselves.People make choices, you can't just blame someone for your wrongs. People can think with their own minds. I'm only human. I'm no one special but i try to make the best of my life as days of it go by as anyone else. i try/want to help in any way I'm capable of. I have my life to live as well.I don't think i can help "all" as the person stated but i can try to help can many as I can.

why not blame the guy handling the gun? he's the one that woke up one day and said im going to kill somebody. its not the gun that said it. i hear when shootings happening that they blame the gun or the race of the person. i dont get what the race of a person has to do with killings. its the persons decision to pull the trigger. not the gun and not his race. so why blame either? without guns there would still be violence with guns at least we could fight the violence back from a distance

Dont you think that before too much longer it will known as the "boiling pot"? With Al "the Big Gut" Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, they arent helping with the problem of racism any at all, if anything they are making it worse. So is the NAACP. Al doesnt even have the decency to apologize to the Duke lacrosse team for what he put them through and he is supposed to be a minister of God. Yeah right!!!!!!!!! Lest we forget about Jesse Jackson, he isnt much better. Martin Luther King would be rolling over in his grave if he knew what these two were doing.
Then of course we have the illegal situation which NO ONE is going to do a dayum thing about.
Bushs' infamous war.

This is a serious question. i want to hear about the famous mexican inventors, and famous mexican astronauts, and scientists. My friend and I are in a debate, I said The reason we should open our boarders to Mexico is because there are many doctors, scientists, and inventors who, if we don't open the boarders will never make it to america. But he says the only thing Mexicans have given America is "the trash can next to the toilet." Which if you live in a boarder town you know what im talking about.

If a man has one non committed relationship after another, he's a big hero to all his friends. However, if a woman, enjoys sex to the same extent that a man does, she's nothing but a wh***, or a sl**. Just wondering why society dictates this as being a reasonable assessment of a woman, just because she enjoys having sex? And I'm not talking about having sex w/ 2 or 3 different guys a week. I'm talking about the mind blowing sex that comes from being in a new relationship, and as soon as the excitement wears off and the sex becomes boring, if I want out, why should I be stuck w/ these negative labeles. If I were a man, it would be acceptable, even somewhat expected. Can anyone explain why, in this day and age, we women who love sex are still made to feel like we have to hide our faces in shame? All opinions on this are appreciated.

There wouldnt be these "sick freaks of nature" if people would just ACCEPT PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE. And reach out to a fellow student who is in need, instead of sweeping the problem under the carpet and hoping it will go away.

If someone would have reached out to Cho MORE than oncem then maybe this would not have happened.

If you ask me, we need to get rid of all the bullys in this world. But something tells me, there will NEVER be total accpetance of others. There will always be ignorant people.

Get rid of the bullys and people like Cho would be happier.

People seem to be galvanized to one extreme or the other on this topic. What about those in the middle? is there a category for us? Take my view for example... I am against abortion. So I am pro life right? I don’t think it is right to abort a pregnancy except where there are health risks for the mother... I also believe however that I have no right to tell someone else how to feel about this topic. I don’t think the government should either, so in that regard I am pro choice... That’s a personal choice that each women or couple has to make for themselves... I wonders how many others have this view?

I don't know what's happening, but everyone I deal with just seems to be inhumanely stupid. The level of incompetence I deal with is beyond shocking. The supposed "professional" people I have to deal with: lawyers, accountants, etc. can't even read a simple letter, nor find an email. I have to tell them how to do their job and remind them of every little detail. I am not exaggerating. I feel like I am dealing with retarded children.

Last week I called the Post Office because a package was missing. I asked the woman for the phone number of the warehouse where the lost items are kept so I could speak with the manager there. She claimed she did not have the number. I told her that was ridiculous; the U.S. Postal Service must have a list of all their main numbers, and this is one of the biggest. She maintained she had no idea what the number was, and they did not have a directory. I called 411 and got the number.

10 points for the best story of unbelievable incompetence.

Since cho had a delusional problem ...dont you think especially in Japan alot of people live in there own sexual or non sexual fantasy world there .................... especially with the girl groups like morning musume and there fan boys........especially the anime-fanatic ones!

i wonder how does japan control obsessed people like that over there...cause isn't there like alot of fanatics over there?

And couldn't Cho's fantasy world be related to the one's with delusional problems in japanese entertainment business?
