In the past, being attractive, intelligent, physically and mentally healthy and beautiful were the criteria. Now there is no need for so much beauty but the rest are still required. Attractive does not neccessarily have to be beautiful. Pleasantness of the look is a must.

1) Everyone is attractive (it a nature thing...and applies even to those who don't make the most of their potential)

2) You would need to present yourself well -- you represent the company and are the interface with the public...BUT the personal physical requirements are much less specific than they used to be before the days of Discrimination Laws!

No, you do however have to know how to apply makeup, dress professionally, be courteous and pleasant, up-style your hair, walk in high heels, swim, firefight and have knowledge of first aid and safety, be prepared to relocate to within 10 minutes of your nearest airport and attend a very very extensive 6 weeks training course in which you have to have a 95% rate to pass and its costs a fortune to do.

Beautiful? no. Attractive? yes. Like it or not. It is one of those professions where looks, especially weight, do matter. They have weight guidelines you must not exceed and grooming standards you must abide by. Risking your life everyday, helping people, emergency training, kind, officiant, none of that matters if you are not cute or thin enough. What a crock of shhitt.
