I was asking a question about things to do in life and someone told me "Be a Kid before it's too late" and people told me that means leave adult and mature stuff when you get old.

What do you think about some1 who's 16 years old?

I Think I'm Taking Things way too Maturely? Is it bad? and if it's bad what can I do?

Do you guys do anything with your lives other than answer questions all day.

I dont even have enough time in my day to answer my quota of 80, so even then id get 160 points a day, maybe add a couple of best answers so thats 180 points a day, so over 7 days thats 1260 a week, and im certainly not spending my weekends on here so what do you guys do other than answer 100's of questions a day.

Surely you cant just answer every question that comes up, there must be somethings you cant answer

Hi Folks,
it seems that I started smoking tobacco because of this. I have also had the intake of my Uncles cigars, after say a Sunday lunch., which I liked.
It is agreed now to be a filthly habit, and I agree !
I have packed it up with some difficulty, but still love the aroma of cigars & pipes.
What do you reckon ?

I work in a library, and it seems to be sucking the life out of me. These people that use the library in this town arnt that bright, and it seems like all im here for is to tell these morons day after day how to use the copy machine, how to sign into their precious computers when there is a f**king sentence on the screen to tell them how (which they never read-i mean its only one damn line, and its right in the middle), and to tell them day after day how to print. Am i the only one who feels like this about the people that i serve as customers?

What?
How rude.
Didn't even stop.

What have I done so wrong?
Oh, I see you approaching, hello; excuse me please, I'm doing a survey...

How many of you don't stop, avoid eye contact, or cross the road altogether to avoid the dreaded clip boards?

It's a fact, many people make this mistake. You'd think they never went to elementary school, or didn't pay attention, if they did.

I've just watched the queen on the telly in westminster abbey, there was much " we are so sorry about the slave trade" and so on. but if they are all so sorry about the crimes of our fathers and want to rectify it, why dont they cancel third world debt which is a direct result of european nations involvement in the slave trade? Or would that just be too expensive?

It would be Great if Women could "change" their hearts or minds like they change their face or body!

Here's HOW Women can change:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our Creator.

Are there ANY Women that have the Spiritual intelligence and guts to Create the Relationship?
if not...............
How about changing your heart and/or mind?

I'm catholic as my coworkers are but don't follow stupid rules such as no meat on Lent Fridays. Two Fridays ago, I had Marmalade Pork Chops and was given the 'evil eye' like nobody's business.

I had enough of this so I evened the score. I normally retrieve the take out on Fridays. My coworkers order Clam Chowder on Fridays so the night before I cut up 2 hamburgers in tiny little chunks. I stored them until I picked up the clam chowders. I then put these tiny pieces of hamburg in all their clam chowders.

As they were about half way through their clam chowders I asked "How are those clam chowders?". Most replied "delicious". I then stated "Good, because I placed small bits of hamburger in each one. Now you will all join me in H-E-L-*" They then realized I was telling the truth and knew the hamburg was real. Some even acted like they were going to regurgitate. Give me a break.

Now is this poetic justice or what? I'm so proud of myself - I'm still gleaming with satisfaction.

I can feel the cold wind, turning into a soft breeze, as winter turns into spring.

But all I hear is silence.

I can see the moon and the stars, magicaly apearing from behind a cloud.

But all I hear is silence.

I can taste the scent of man, soft and light on my tounge.

But all I hear is silence.

I can smell fresh wood, burning, blowing smoke my way.

But all I hear is silence.

Thick, impenatrable, silence.

I would like to sell some antique items that used to belong to my mother. Of course, I know of the big auction houses in London. However, I don't know what it is to deal with a big auction house. What traps should a novice like myself look out for? Every trade has its tricks, and I want to avoid being taken advantage of. How much of a commision does an auction house generally ask for? What are the hidden fees that are vaguely mentioned on their internet sites. I see that there might be various miscellaneous fees, but nothing is ever spelled out. This makes me nervous and suspicious to even contact such an establishment to sell an item.

Any advice on how to deal with an auction house would be greatly appreciated.
