I don't think so. In fact, I think that Harry Potter has introduced books to millions who may have never considered reading before. In that way, he has opened up a whole new world to a very large group of young people.

Not the ones that have a grasp in reality. Those that may have been affected adversely by it (which are extremely rare) would have been affected by any other story/movie.
