Hi Folks,
it seems that I started smoking tobacco because of this. I have also had the intake of my Uncles cigars, after say a Sunday lunch., which I liked.
It is agreed now to be a filthly habit, and I agree !
I have packed it up with some difficulty, but still love the aroma of cigars & pipes.
What do you reckon ?

I can remember from when I was little my dad used to smoke cigars (still love the smell) he would blow the biggest smoke rings you've ever seen. He smoked a pipe too (not at the same time) but I wasn't too keen on that.
I started smoking when I was 15 and I'm still at it.

Oh, yes. That lovely lingering smell. I am too a smoker. Unfortunately. But, that aroma is so vivid in my mind. My uncle smokes a pipe and I sit there smelling the lovely aroma.
They say, if you smoke, a pipe, it is a lot better than smoking a cigerette.
I am still trying too kick the habit. But it is an addiction hard to conquer.
Enjoy the aroma, but promise me not to smoke, since you have packed it in.
They say, you will have the urge forever, don't give in.

It is a great aroma, and not a terrible habit if you can keep it to the occasional cigar or pipe. If you can keep it at a low level, and not sucking on cigarettes all the time, don't sweat it.

Why is it filthy? Pipe smoke is actually very aromatic and pleasurable. Cigars can stink up the place, but are pretty good as well.
The problem is that real men are so afraid to offend women, and instead bake cakes and pies and clip long stem roses. lol

No, no, and no. And that individual could certainly would desire to be 'old college'. i don't think of the extra youthful crowd has taken up pipe smoking in an prolonged time. Cigars are in, nonetheless. yet, they scent purely as undesirable...very very nearly.

I hate the smell of cigarette and cigar smoke but adore the smell of pipes. Dunno why, my uncle smokes a pipe and it always reminds me of Christmas as a child and a much more innocent time so whenever I smell it now it just takes me back and I love it.

Pipe smoke is lovely, but I think that smells can evoke the most vivid memories. Remember it is just those days you miss-not the pipe smoke!
