I'm starting to realize that it's better to live your life without any regrets. That is to say, that if you're going to do something, do it with passion and make sure it's something you're not going to regret doing or not doing later on. :)

My fiance and I live in Cali. * Northern* and it's waaay too expensive for us to raise a family here. We want to move to a nice area that's clean and affordable. I want to stay away from Southern states.
We tried AZ, but people were VERY racist there. And for people who say ignore racism, no offense, but you've probably never experienced it first hand. When it affects your ability to find a job, go shopping, etc; it's a huge problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?? We've thought about Canada?

Does anyone know of a site that has interracial e-cards. They don't have to be free, just depicting interracial couples. I found one site but it only had black women with white men and I need the opposite.

Sometimes I get really sad at the way the World is...people dying in Iraq and Afghanistan everyday, child molestors kidnapping children and people committing awful crimes to others, starving children in Africa, hundreds of thousands forced from their homes in Sudan....it may sound silly, but all these things really make me sad, and sometimes I feel like my job (an attorney) is so trivial and unimportant in the big scheme of things. I also feel like people are just too materialistic these days (money, fast cars, nice clothes, etc). Sometimes these feelings interfere with my own life by making me feel depressed and helpless. I try to do what I can for charity and stuff...but it just doesn't feel like enough. What can I do???

He is a 30 yr. old alcoholic who checked himself in two days ago. I am hearing through his mom who hears through the nurses there that he is having a rough time. Astronomers report that the temperature of every measureable body in our solar system is rising!

It appears that Whinin' Al only saw the tip of the iceberg. not only is global warming real, but, to my personal horror, it appears to be contagious between solar bodies!

Maybe, if we all pitch in, we can get Al to sell us enough "carbon offsets" to fix this!

Anybody wanna contribute?
