When are people going to realise that Americans have rights under the constitution. If it is a public place we as Americans have public rights. Schools are one of the examples. Yes, public schools can set out a dress code, code of conduct and such. There is a fine line though. Many schools do not realise that rules have to be obeyed by all faculty,staff and administrators as well as students. How can you set the example if you are not doing the same? okay....so this is the scoop...
My youngest is going through this phase where he wears black polish and eyeliner. He is a very good student, respectible, causes no problems. Today one of his teachers did not like the fact he was wearing eyeliner so, she reported it to the vice principal who in turn spoke with my son. He asked him to wash it off cause it was a distraction. I disagree. I spoke with the principal and told him that he had to make staff, school officals as well as all other students stop wearing it as well.

okay well my best friend and i are gonna start making videos just like doing random,funny stuff you know and post them on YouTube. but for our first video we wanna film which will be TOMORROW, we wanna do it at the mall! like just ask people random questions, be stupid, but not stupid as in extremely DISTURBING the whole mall stupid. Do you think we would get in trouble though for carrying around a video camera? And if we would get in trouble, suggest other places to tape please thanks!!

I'm not sure why she got rejected but I assume it was because of her undesirable looks. When you think about it's totally screwed up. But then again I look at myself and the people around me in this society & realize that we are to blame. People like to blame the shallowness of the media and Hollywood for the lack of 'normal', unattractive people on our televisions but the fact is its OUR fault.

We're the ones that choose not to go to movies if Fantasia was the star not Beyonce (bad actress) or Hudson. We don't like to see fat women modeling in the Victoria commercials we don't like to see ugly women on our sit-coms we don't enjoy watching a good horror flick with a black women unless she gets eaten by the movie creature within the first ten minutes.

Our society has basic standards and codes of beauty that we verify with OUR consumption of the products. Hollywood cares about money & ratings not looks. WE rejected Fantasia and gave Lindsey Lohan & Brittany Spears eating disorders. We hold the power to change things.

Ok...I work in a really small office. We only have 6 employess so we really have to work WITH each other. Our Accountant is an alcholic. Who will tell you he has a problem & needs help, and then change his mind & decide he doesn't. He tells me ALL of his business...too much in fact. His girlfriend will call me & ask advice about him & one of her kids that worked her briefly. Now I'll admit, at first I tried to help...my fault. After a while I became resentful. This is where I work, I don't come here to listen to everyone who works her & their girlfriend, and her kids problems...so now I ignore all of them. I am polite but I do not respond to extra conversation. I do my work.
Well...I get an email asking for a donation to help them help a family member who had an operation. I am just seething with anger...I don't know what to say or how to respond. Am I supposed to emotionally & now financially support the whole dang family?? I haven't seen my co worker yet but what do I say?

I recently visited a discount store described as a "Supercenter". I observed no caped muscular men flying about hefting planet sized objects or spandex clad buxom women emitting physic energies or delivering pulverizing karate blows to vicious aliens one would expect in a Super setting. I did see rather lumpish looking clerks and stock people selling to bleary eyed equally plump consumers Chinese produced goods. I purchased a pair of velcro strap sneakers ($9.87+tax) and left feeling quite let down. Have you experienced similar disappointments?

Why is age seen as a curse in the modern world? In the ancient world age was revered, it was a sign of a journey, a sign of life and survival.

Now people want to look as young as possible, if people do not get botox by 21 then they are outcasts.
People also want younger bodies so they strive for size 0 which is the size of a 7 year old, has a youth obsessed culture gone too far?

The fountain of youth is age. Wrinkles become unnoticable after a certain age such as 80. If people lived to be 200 they would all end up looking like a natural 80 year old.

The fountain of youth is in age, it is not at the end of a scaple or in a poison.

and generally talk down to people. Or mention just how much this kind of question annoys them.Then when you check out there question history you see they have a billion points but there last asked question was 3 months ago. How did they get so smart never asking a question or are they just full of it?
