There was a rumor s[read about me around school and it is really bothering me so I want to know how to stop it.

First of all, they're probably jealous of you. 2nd, if it really bothers you, I'd confront them head on, and let the truth be known. At any rate, good luck. Don't let the haters get to you. :)

Aside from announcing in the morning announcements, you can't. If someone confronts you, let them know what the truth really is. Hopefully, they will be adult enough to differentiate the truth from a lie. :)

You cannot control what people say.
Ignore it and don't listen to any stupid comments or pay attention to gossip or add to it - it just snowballs.
