Good English beer is the best in the world. Why, then, do so many people there insist on drinking weak piss like Bud or Stella? I have even seen Miller Lite and Corona show in England... and it baffles me, really, why anyone in England would touch that junk when the best of the best is all around you.
I travel to England every year for 4 or 5 weeks, mainly on account of the beer... it's basically one long pub crawl every time... and no matter where I travel to in the country, it's the same in almost every pub... Bud and Stella are the big sellers. Meanwhile, the excellent stuff that's brewed on your own soil sits there and goes stale.
Granted, England does produce its share of terrible 'mass consumption' beer--Carling, Bass, Stones, John Smith, etc.--but quality English beer is second to none.
Will someone in Albion PLEASE explain this strange behavior to me?

When I was a child my next-door neighbour used to behave inappropriately with me. He was a man in his 30s but he would always ask me round. At first he would get me to wash his car or do cleaning for him while he took a shower. Then he would ask me to pass him his towel when he was naked. After a while this progressed and he would touch me but not badly (he would pretend he needed to "measure" me for jeans he was buying me and asked me to get undressed while he did so) Also he would ask me to massage him, or "click his back" and stuff like that. Looking back I think he was definitely some kind of pervert.

I have never told anyone about this but I worry that his behaviour has got worse and he may have abused other children. Especially now the internet is so widely used.

Should I report his behaviour to the police or is it not worth dragging it all up?

Is it freedom or laziness? May be it's a new way modern society?
Anyway lots of people feel high pressure from the direction of companies, which they work in. Generally accepted that successful career is the way to top in huge corparation. If you choose the another way evolution it goes to misunderstanding and condemnation. And if you lucky- you are genius, if not- looser and fool- in the eyes of society.
What's you choose? Be like others or to challenge the foundations?

Okay I sometime call it "selective hearing" but I can be doing my work and the teacher is calling out names and I can't hear when my name is being called even she's pretty much yelling or if I am talking to a friend I can't hear the person 5 feet behind me talking to me. I don't think I have a serious hearing problem because i've been to get my hearing checked and it's just fine...I think...am I just one of those people who can only focus on hearing one person talking at a time ( kinda weird since i LOVE to talk)?? I, for an example, prefer Asian girls.
One of my friends likes only blacks and doesn't even look at white girls.
Now, when some guys only like boys, how is that any different from the above two examples?
And no, I don't believe that gay people are born gay, but it's just personnel preferences that we all possess.
So please, (I'm addressing religious people), stop harassing this people. They've done nothing wrong and no one should look at them as anyhow different from us.

When i was about 16 me & a friend were sure we had seen a UFO! It was a really sunny day & the sky was very clear, we both looked up & saw a round very shiny object very high in the sky moving at speed Then all of a sudden it shot off so fast it was like nothing i can describe & disappeared, we both could not believe what we had saw & at that age was very excited by it! I speak in respect, the u.s should do more to control certain actions of society in the nation of the most high-American. To safeguard this country for future society, to help maintain good example for futre coming young ones. Certain action of people, the U.S should control it ASAP. I speak in respect.

I have a daughter aged 12, and I think her generation have lost the ability to communicate in the old fashioned way. I'm in the parking lot getting ready to go to lunch. If you're like most working people, your lunch breaks probably last 20 to 30 mins if you're lucky. Some of you probably work through lunch! Been there, done that! It's overrated by the way. :) But any who, this elderly gentleman, couldn't find his car. Poor guy. :( Huge parking lot by the way. My stomach is aching, like it's angry with me! I decided to help the guy find his car. It took about 20 minutes cause he didn't know exactly where he had parked. As for lunch? I went back inside the hospital and went to a vending machine. :) What?! Vending machine food does a body good! :) Comments?

This question is for all the unusual people. Please just provide your opinion and do not overanalyze or criticize the question.

I believe 75% of the people in the world are like cattle. They live their lives in ignorance, accept what comes at them, and never ask what needs to be done to make things better. They are stuck and do not care.

So, if this is the case, is it more likely people in the other 25% are more like cattle than they believe, or are the cattle more unique than I give them credit for?
