I feel this way at times.

People are so loving, so kind, so nice to me.

I feel as though, why? I don't deserve this, I am just me, just ordinary little me. I love people almost too death.

Anyone else ever feel this way? Thanks!

Ok, this little trend began in the late 80's, early 90's. Guys started walking around with their pants at their knees. I was hoping by now that trend would be gone but it's not! Why do you do this? Do you really think you look "cool" wearing pants that are ten sizes to big and you have to hold on to them to keep them from falling down? You look ridiculous! Could you please get that through your head? I'm not saying people should wear their pants at the natural waist line because I wear hip huggers but at least I don't show my underwear everywhere I go. Have a little respect for yourself.
Seriously, why do you do this???

Many of us saw the new episode of South Park where they used the N-word. Even though the show had a decent moral to it, it has reignited a movement to make usage of the N-word illegal.

So what are your thoughts?

Two big things to keep in mind. First, we have freedom of speech and making the word illegal would be a direct violation of that freedom. Second, that word does carry incredibly offensive meaning.

Of course let's take it a step further. If the N-word were to be banned, it would have to be banned in all forms to all people meaning many black performers could no longer say things like "*****" and would make it illegal for many blacks from using the word to address their friends.

The Irish love to give the English a hard time. The Irish had a field day beating the English and the English get blamed for everything over the British and as an Irishman I don't understand why. Yes I know my history, very well in fact, I majored in it, but don't get the nastiness towards just the English, when in fact Britain , USA, Spain, Ireland and France all played a part in our history.

For instances, I was walking down the hall way and I notice that people were usually dress up in their high maintance clothes. Strangely enough, I took off my head gear and people staired at me like I was the one who robbed them last night; therefore, I am contantly wondering why does God make life so frustrating deal with, epsecially when you are different. Most of the time, I am angry at him because there are much many aspect in life that are unjustifying.

The British have bad teeth? I have seen this a few times aimed as an insult, but I don't get it as I do not know anyone who has bad teeth - apart from a couple of bruisers, but they keep getting them knocked out in fights every time they are replaced....

My 17 year old son is out of control. He was never with the popular crowd but when he turned 16 it has been all down hill. When he turned 16 he began referring to himself as the Red Rooster. It is unbelievable and almost indescribable, he does a rooster strut and pecks his nose whenever & wherever he walks, occasionally singing out "c***-a-doodle-do" in a horrid screech. To top it all off he has his hair spiked with a large red protruding ridge in the center of his head.

I've tried to reason with him and explain what he is doing is ridiculous. I can't even go out in public with him anymore. Mind you, this has been going on non-stop for over a year. All he can say for himself is "It shows everyone I can work with my limited ability" - I don't even know what that means.

What would you do if your child started behaving like a human rooster? Would you throw him out of your house?

I thank you for all answers and I do not regret the action I took. However I did feel it neccessary to call the local Police helpdesk (not the emergency number) from a pay phone and ask their opinion on the matter anonymously.

The desk officer on the other end of the line was very down-to-earth and informed me, as far as she was concerned, no crime had been committed and that what I did was a heat-of-the-moment mistake for a good cause.

Thanks again for all your answers!

PS, my friend tells me Spanky is staying at the vets and that an elderly relative of hers (who lives across the other side of town, far from the thug's territory) is adopting him once he is healed.

I'm wondering if people who are offending by cussing are offended by my practice on this site, with is to get around the filters (which make a cuss-word all asterisks) by substituting asterisks for vowels.

Am also wondering if all cuss words are offensive.

So, are you offended by seeing

h*ll
sh*t
d*mn
s*cks (as in "It really s*cks when people don't explain their questions adaquetly.")

I don't do that for the f word, but instead type freakin' or friggin'

Do these practices offend?

It seem like the sky is the limit in life these days. Do you appreciate boundries and borders? Example: I wouldn't keep found money unless I tried to locate the owner. Is there anything you won't do? Please leave out sexual content. I'm not interested in perversion.
