Everything can be fine, but then the flag comes out, and someone is selected to sing the song. In no time, tears will fill my eyes, and I want to be depressed and cry. Why?

I'm at this conflicting point, where I've realized how necessary and urgent it is to try to improve the sad state of affairs, with societal discrimination, unfairness, hatred etc. (Im not going to be specific)
Yet every attempt is met with further ignorance, and it renders any time or energy spent as basically wasted.
What to do at this point? How would you continue at this point?

I know it is seemingly not right to try to change other people's minds, and nearly impossible too, but can't everyone basically agree that hatred or prejudice, in its many forms, is NOT a good thing?? So why is it so hard to get through to people then?

In May 2006 my mom met and started dating this guy. I didn't think much of it until October of last year he moved his stuff into our house. After moving his stuff into the house he went away and he returned last weekend. Since he returned last weekend he disabled the alarm system and was on the computer from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. When I got on the computer after him he erased the history so no one could know what websites he was looking at, one day when I went to wash some clothes I caught him going through one of the storage closets down stairs. Since he has been here he has been making statements like "this is my house" he and my mom aren't even married. Everyone who sees him feels very uncomfortable around him. What can I do to ensure my safety. Because when I talk to my mom about him she takes his side. Please Help Me

Today, my wife's son would have been 40 years old, if he had lived. He died of a heroin overdose at 26, drug pushers in California convinced him to give it a try, and he suffered for it until he died. She cries on his birthday every year, and suffers from the memory. What do you think we can do to eliminate this horrible menace of our society and stop the killing of innocent children?

Why????? I just dont understand??

I love going to Wales on holiday, but I always get funny looks from the Welsh people when they hear my English accent.

One year when I went to Wales, I decided to buy a souvenir pen, the lady at the till tried to con me out of my money by trying to over charge me for the pen, twice! When it was clearly labelled with the correct price.

On another occasion I went into a takeaway shop with my family, I sat down to eat my meal and was just chatting with my family when I noticed that a woman sat on the table across from us was constantly staring at us with a disgusted look!! I dont know what her problem was we were just sat minding our own business having something to eat for lunch, before leaving to go and have a look around the town.

What is the problem that the Welsh people have with us English people??

A valid question. Now is your chance to stand up & say if you are on the side of the meatheads, or if you want to improve your countries profile on the World Stage, because things are looking quite miserable for you there at the moment aren't they?

Why do people tend to feel more comfortable living among their own racial groups? We tend to hear about diversity at work, and we respect it to a certain degree. When we go home we want to be among our own culture, marry people from our culture, have friends within the same group. This is the beginning of the 21st century and it still shocks me to see prejudice and fear in so many people. Why do you think we are not more open to other groups outside of the workplace?
