i feel the same way, and i feel like when i try to go forward something pulls me back. But you have to stay motivated, try and keep negative people out of your life and i think that you can make it. Life is all what we make of it, so since you one have one.... make it the best.

I know how ya feel...I do think I'm waiting on my purpose-driven life to begin. Well, I think it's in the process now but I know what you mean by feeling stuck. Especially just a few months ago, I felt completely stuck. I was at a job that I wasn't happy with, I recently divorced and have been staying with my parents (I'm 36) until I get my own place. I feel like a teenager again. I am not where I want to be in life...but I think I'm definitely on the right path and good things are up on the horizon. I changed jobs and I like it very much. I will eventually move out of my parents' home and I will someday find someone special to share life with. Doesn't that sound like something to look forward to ? You'll get there...hang on and just take it day by day.

A while back, I read my fortune cookie message and it said that "the best years of your life have yet to be lived". I think it was right...

Yup, me too, but it's my own fault. When I was at school, I wanted to study medicine but was intimidated by the grades I needed, so I ended up getting a Science degree. Now, I realise that medicine is the best field for me to be in, so I have to work for the next five years to save up for my college fees. And even then it'll take me another six years to qualify. At this rate I'll be thirty-five before I even start my career.

I think that when you feel stuck it's important to take the time to work out what you really want out of life and to make a realistic plan to make it happen. Then you need lots of patience and determination.

If you don't know what you want, but only know that you want something different, then you should try something crazy. Go and work in a foreign country where they don't speak english! It worked for me.

lol you aren't the only one. It's hard to actually start moving in the direction you want to go, but it'll get easier once you've got some momentum. Start making the changes you want to make. Your life will get so much better when you do.
