1) I eat way to much sugar

I seen on TV and movies that in US, the students in college, high schools are wild. They have parties, scandals, popular cheerleaders getting the hottest guy, nerds being bullied, whites dont mix with the asians, being not virgin is good, sex etc..

Tell me more.. i really wanna know if what shown in movies and shows are real..

People call dog-eating people inhumane and cruel.

I mean, to them, beef and pork are acceptable, but dog or cat isn't.

I just met a woman who has a degree in psychology. I assumed she would be somewhat intelligent, but all that came out of her blabbering mouth was nonsense. Almost as if her only source of information was through books and she was armed with no practical knowledge.

A good friend of mine says that my expectations of people are too high. I think I have hope that humans are not churning out idiots but I may concede given my last thousand encounters with the masses.

I just want to stay home with my husband and my cat. I'm sick of the disappointment.

Anyone else out there feel the same? And what do I do about this?

you've gone all day, and you go to shower and there is a small wad of toilet paper still stuck in your butt and you've been uncomfortable and couldn't figure out why?Or am I the only one??..

I just think its funny that people get shocked like nice people dont have feelings or something. I remember my friend cussed out someone that was mocking him and nobody expected it. next thing you now people are talking about his going crazy, no his letting out his anger.

Okay so on movies and stand-up you hear about someone going for treatment for pot and someone stands up and before you and talks about how they were molested and were smokin crack at 10. Now it's your turn to say why your attending and your like I like to smoke pot. In reality if someone has a problem with marijuana is it worth going to treatment or will there be a back lash?

I've given this question a lot of thought over the past couple years and I can honestly say I'm a little concerned. We see movies and read books that show and describe technologies that are completely ridiculous or inhumane, but shouldn't we pay more attention to the fact that some of those things may happen? I sometimes wonder what technologies have been discovered that we are unaware of. We're possibly a decade away from having flying cars (www.moller.com) and many other aspects of every day life seem to be advancing as well.

For a communications class project I have to dress or act (in public) in a way that violates social norms. Nothing illegal or dangerous of course. I'd prefer to dress weird or something because it will require less acting. Or something involving my dog (small chihuahua) would be good. Any ideas?

This is not really a particularly serious question but....

for many years now i have had this weird thing where i will always have the urge to look at the clock when it is exactly 1:11, whether am or pm (sometimes both times in the day). this is virtually every day. even if its the middle of the night and i am sleeping i will get the urge to turn over in bed and just glance at the clock, and it will be 1:11 every time. its almost too weird because it happens consistently. i just have to laugh about it. ive actually tried playing the numbers in the lotto but didnt win!! lol. but anyways, i definitely believe in energies, and think maybe there is a specific energy at that time that attracts me or something. who knows.

anyone else dealt with any similar weird/unexplainable things?

i am doing a persuasive speech on child adoption. my main purpose is to try to persade my audience to adopt a child...but im having trouble knowing how to do research?...what type of information would i need in order to help persuade my audience to adopt?....what type of information would u want?...or what do u think would help you convince to adopt a child
