child adoption??

i am doing a persuasive speech on child adoption. my main purpose is to try to persade my audience to adopt a child...but im having trouble knowing how to do research?...what type of information would i need in order to help persuade my audience to adopt?....what type of information would u want?...or what do u think would help you convince to adopt a child

You could use child protective services as a resource for the number of kids in foster homes that need a family instead of being moved from one foster home to another. You might try talking to some kids who have been adopted they should be able to give you some insight into how it feels to be adopted and what the good points are. Kids need love and what better way to help someone that to open up your heart and home to a child who has no one !
