I understand that "n*****" developed a negative connotation in the 20th century, but how did "knee-grow" become a bad word, too? (And yes, I know I spelled it wrong, but everytime I try to post this question with it spelled correctly, it doesn't show up.) What happened to make it this way? I'm just curious, because in Spanish, "knee-grow" means "black," and no one seems to have a problem with calling blacks "knee-grows" in Spanish. I know that we're all members of the human race, but if there were a situation in which one had to refer to race, what would be the preferred term? This question is not intended to offend anyone; I just would like to hear some opinions. Thank you.

Employees at best buy?
most of them are very annoying and i work with them. some co-workers/managers question why am i so quiet, and one guy told me i was fake because of my demeanor. i just dont like being bothered, i was hired to work not be friends.

In light of this statement, what's more important to you: "Doing good" in your life or "Feeling good" about yourself?

I realize that doing good usually makes you feel good, but if you had to choose between the 2 which one do you think is more important?

I hate hearing curse words! I can't stand it. I met an old friend online just a while ago and he use to be so friendly and innocent. Now he curses so bad....he curses like a sailer! Why do so many people do it? I mean, its just so evil

TEXAS always tops! Every other state (or country) just isn't as great! We're just waiting for that frozen barren Alaska to melt before we become the biggest state again. We are the best, most incredible, most interesting, friendliest COUNTRY in the world! Each city is amazing and has its own character, and the history is very rich! God Bless TEXAS!

Second: California. Is it liberal? Unfortunately. Is it a rival state of Texas? Yes. But, I used to live there, and I didn't think it was so bad. You couldn't pay me to live there again, but I love visiting. Outside of the leftist cities, it's really a beautiful and diverse state! Great colleges, too.

Last: Kentucky, for it to be so economically and educationally dismal, the people are very cold, sour, and think they are "special" (like "white trash with money!") The horse farms are beautiful. But, the eastern KY mountains are not pretty at all after fall foliage; in fact, they are really quite trashy. I lived there. I DETEST Kentucky!
