Employees at best buy?
most of them are very annoying and i work with them. some co-workers/managers question why am i so quiet, and one guy told me i was fake because of my demeanor. i just dont like being bothered, i was hired to work not be friends.

A recent experience at Best Buy has put me off of them completely. We will never patronize the store again. My kids were in there shopping. The eldest wasn't available to shop for himself so we did it for him. He wanted a DVD which was currently out of stock. Instead of the sales person offering to order it for us; he proceeded to inject his own critique of the film. His description was completely inaccurate and unasked for. The film was for an 18 year old ADULT not a preteen or elementary student. Whatever his delicate sensibilities were they weren't those of the customer's. (us)
No one asked for his opinion and he completely exaggerated the content so that it embarassed the elderly relative we had with us who then began to question the purchase.
This wasn't the only incident that has occurred but it was definitely the final straw. It is unfortunate that we didn't come in contact with someone like yourself who is there to be professional and to just do your job. Although, Best Buy definitely won't go out of business with the loss of our individual patronage ; we will definitely discourage others when the opportunity arises.

You are right, you were hired to work and not be friends or make friends. If you are a hard worker and other employees see that, they may be jealous of you. Your best bet would be to just ignore them and continue doing your job. Good luck!
