Ok, I'm not taking about making them cover up and walk ten paces behind. But surely if they are required to do the washing up, ironing or cleaning, then they should. If they refuse, maybe a back hander should be allowed to let them know whose boss. I dunno? I await your thoughts.

In 1991, Dr. Robin Fox, then editor of the British medical journal The Lancet, visited the Home for Dying Destitute in Calcutta and described the medical care the patients received as "haphazard". Dr. Fox criticised Teresa claiming that her order did not distinguish between curable and incurable patients, putting curable patients at risk.

Fox conceded that the regimen he observed included cleanliness, the tending of wounds and sores, and kindness, but he noted that the sisters' approach to managing pain was "disturbingly lacking". The formulary at the facility Fox visited lacked strong analgesics which he felt clearly separated Mother Teresa's approach from the hospice movement. Fox also wrote that needles were rinsed with warm water, which left them inadequately sterilized, and the facility did not isolate patients with tuberculosis.
Then he went back to his comfortable home, and Theresa and nuns were left to cope on their own. If he was so concerned, why didn't he do something?

A serious question for a change. I'm 22, love going out with my pals but i'd love to experience uni life. It'd mean i'd have to give up all the lads holidays, going out every weekend wherever i want etc. Whats your opinion, especially if you've done/doing a similar thing?

I love the sea and when I finish college want to move to the coast as soon as I am able- I think the sea is in my blood now.

But on top of blasted coastlines and wild ocean I also like green, woods and forests and big gardens...but these never seem to go with coastlines- the winds are always too strong for anything to grow much and you have to go quite a way inland before you find good tree cover and greenery.

Is there anywhere in the UK where there two environments exist very close together, so I could have the best of both worlds? The sea and good old mixed woodland?

My Dad remembers in his youth going somewhere on hoilday near Weston Super Mare and he swears that the woods there grew right down to the waters edge...but I think he might have got confused.

Any ideas? Thanks!
