It was written by man, yes, but God made all these things happen, the first paper bible was not created until around the 1500's! (A.D.) So it had to have been written by man, probably priests (there was no division of the church yet) who were highly educated, also lots of stories were passed down by word of mouth, so 1 priest to another. hope this helps!

I believe that the Bible was written by man, through the word or vision of the Lord. It is hard being a follower of Christ because we are not perfect. I make mistakes every day, but I know that the Lord will forgive me because I am faithful to him. We don't forget to live by the Lord, we just slip up just like everyone else and we have to answer to God :)

Yes, it was and edited by man with parts of it removed.
The next question is where did the writer get the inspiration for what was written.
The Gospel according to Thomas dated 50 years AD is very different than traditional books of the bible.
Also their are MANY editions and translation after translation.
"lift up a rock and I AM there" HUMMM
Ok so living by God most major religions in the world say do good, be kind, do not give in to anger, greed etc.
Living by God, does that include some sort of prayer or meditation. How do you talk to God? How does God talk to you?
Good questions.
I live by "GOD" too!

Man penned it, by direct inspiration of God. The Bible tells us how to live the way God wants us to.

god cant write well he wrote the ten commandments and that took awhile on stone, so of course a man wrote the bible, it was first the dead sea scrolls(monks or something along those lines) and then over time the storys that were spread by mouth (locals) were eventually composed by priests into a book along with the sea scrolls, forming the first bible, and then king james came along and they changed the entire bible to suit him...yes they did....thats why the kings james is a revision. So really, when it comes down to it, do you really beilive in it?

I think the Bible was wrtten by men that were inspired by God. The product is reveals knowledge about God, His interaction with the world, and His desires.

I believe the Bible was written by men, several of them. Some believe that those men were inspired by God.
I know it wasn't women, they were busy with cooking, planting and childcare and weaving and spinning...for the men who were sitting around writing the Bible.
