It boggles my mind how people freak out when they hear snow is coming and they run to the grocery store / convenience store for MILK & BREAD!!!! The isles look as if savages raided them with ripped opened bags of bread on the floor. What the hell is this?

I live in the same area these nervous morons do and they are not going to be trapped from ONE snow storm. Furthermore, they are just buying MILK & BREAD!!!! Is this some kind of special diet when it snows? I just don't get it - why just MILK & BREAD? What if they have pets - is it MILK & BREAD for the animals too?

Are these people narcissistic or just really into themselves? I find they live in a world of unrealistic values and are always dramatic in describing themselves. If only they were as interesting as they believe.

What is the best way to use a charitable donation - less to more, or more to fewer?

A rather simplistic scenario:

In a developing country, X amount of money will support 25 children up to the end of secondary school OR 10 children up to the end of secondary school plus a vocational course.

Which of the two ways might be the best way to use the money?
.

My husband got out of his car this saturday nite and was attacked by a black man. He called my husband a white cracker m_th_r F_uc_er son of a Bi_ch, then began beating him with brass knuckles. my husband didnt even have time to make a remark. Why should blacks be able to get away with actions like this? If it was the other way around my husband would be in Prison.

The world recognizes only such persons. Even the Yahoo Special, for example, states questions from such persons with a terribly unmanageable number of answers. It is possible that there are many in the world who have equal talents but have not grown so eminent or popular. Now, providing opportunities for them to express themselves and to gain a niche could be a million dollar question. Who is a taker? Would a platform like Yahoo Answer do this? It appeared to have started like this but now seems to be changing tack. In fact, such persons should not ask; they should answer questions on account of their high positions in life and career!

My becomes 'muh'.
Friend becomes 'frand'
true becomes 'tru'
having becomes 'havun'
you becomes 'yew'
with becomes 'wif'
just becomes 'juss'--and so on and so forth.

Is this some kind of strange language, slang or the result of a really bad education? Because I have to say that when teens write like this I don't understand what they are talking about.

To me, true freedom is being able to live in a world free of judgement. Why is it so hard for other people to accept others for who they are? Why do some people feel it necessary to force their thoughts, ideas, and ways of living on others? No one is superior to anyone else and our differences is what makes the world an interesting place. Do you think the world will ever see a society of true equality? Or am I just too idealistic and we will always have a world full of hate and evil?

I have heard people saying that most women more often than not tend to follow their own instincts/feelings rather than stick to facts when it comes to making important decisions in highly sensitive positions, such as heads of states or presidents. Do you really believe this is the case or just hogwash? In either case, please, give enough arguments to back it up. Thanks.

How can you help a homeless person? I have always heard its too dangerous to give them rides anywhere... and if you give them money all they are going to do is turn around and buy drugs or some alcohol......... so what can you do? I have seen some pretty awful ones recently and it broke my heart to see them. I usually just stop and give them $10 dollars or whatever I have on me but I don't want to keep pushing them to be homeless. Do most cities have a place where they can and get help or what?
