The world recognizes only such persons. Even the Yahoo Special, for example, states questions from such persons with a terribly unmanageable number of answers. It is possible that there are many in the world who have equal talents but have not grown so eminent or popular. Now, providing opportunities for them to express themselves and to gain a niche could be a million dollar question. Who is a taker? Would a platform like Yahoo Answer do this? It appeared to have started like this but now seems to be changing tack. In fact, such persons should not ask; they should answer questions on account of their high positions in life and career!

It's not enough to have talents; one must do something to promote oneself.
If it's politics, be active, join a party, be ready to be insulted, do dirty jobs, not to be squeamish. be ready to fail. To act dirty when needed.
The same in entertainment. Use sex, lies, brutality, everything to get on top. Once on top, relax, and start telling others how to be good and nice, and donate to charity.

It appears yours is more an opinion than a question. I agree with you mostly - not all talented people are always lucky to become eminent or popular. Conversely, some people who are popular may not be all that talented. It depends on luck, it depends on the opportunity, it depends on where and when you are born. No there is no way somebody becomes eminint or reputed solely on the basis of his talents. There are thousands of examples when a person's talent was recognised much after his death.
At the same time, nobody is stopping you to practise your talents and reach the height of excellence you are after. If one has tallents and if one really tries hard, it is most likely that he will be recognised.

Some are born as great people. Some are made great. And others become great. Great person as we understand is some one who is acknowledged as important. But there are also unacknowledged great people. At least they be acknowledged as so by God, the unseen supreme judge. A grate person should be great in every way; physically, psychologically, socially, spiritually, etc. Really great people do not crave for name or fame but they come to them. They become worthy of respect and command respect from others. They should be committed people who work and work for higher values. they should be service minded and humble. if those who crave for only empty popularity, they can get very easily even by scandals or crimes. The society should learn to discredit such people. neither a person who succeeds in one area be considered as great like the sports men and film stars. We need to acknowledge and appreciate their talents but need not admire and keep them as our models. they do not deserve such status. really great people should receive approval of their greatness by the public as well as God. one who is great before God is always great even if that person is not recognised by the people as such. they are eternally great. Such greatness Can not be taken away fro m them
