Are there 2 Americas? - an urban one and a rural one? Culturally, socially, politically???

A lot more than two, but yes there is a rural culture and there are several urban cultures. Then of course their are the various cultures based on racial backgrounds, economic capabibilities, etc.

I think there are more. The "United States" are not really United at all if you ask me. The cuture and political views vary greatly from one area to another.

I'd have to say yes, yes, yes. Society demands it. But dig deeper into our subculture. I'd bet you'd find more than 2. And thats just in North America.
