If it were not for the shoulders of nice people who raised you or gave you privilidge or taught you or guided you, where would you be now? Have you ever taken advantage of the nice type of people that bore your uprising to stardom or power or privilidge or prestige? Just plain nice people, that didn't necessarily have any wealth or power or swear allegiance to any mythical controls in society? Nice people that cared about everyone and maybe even struggled to survive?

Or would you let this be the kid's decision later on?

My family's been debating that. I was born with extra toes, and they were taken off at birth. I didn't know about this until I was 30, but it explained why my feet look a little funny. My brother says if that happens with his kids, it will be their decision to remove or not remove them.

What would you do? And does that run in your family?

I was born on the 08.08.1980. If so you will have also experienced on your 8th birthday it was the 08/08/1988. When I'm 28 it will be 08/08/08. Obviously my lucky number is 8! Does anyone have a better birth date than me?

hey im just wondering how many people have been offered that nasty dangerous drug cuz someone offered it to me and im glad i've never tried it cuz it really messes people up cuz i my ex boyfriend does that and it's really messin him up and chanhing him it's so sad :(

What would you do if you were in a liquor store buying some chips, and when the next guy was done buying stuff and then the guy behind you(an adult) quickly moves in front of you and cuts you. You tell him that he just cut you, and he says your fault for taking your damn time(in a mean way) even though he moved right ahead of you right after the other person was done buying. You are 15 years old and male. You have a friend and several classmates there also buying stuff since it's break time.

I'm dead broke right now and since I'm going to grad school full time, and doing classroom observations during the day, it's hard to get a job that can work around my schedule. But my need for some extra cash is becoming very large. I've been buying gas with the pennies I've been saving for years. I found out the hard way that they won't accept pennies unless they are rolled. But this is rediculous. I can't afford a cup of coffee in the morning. I sometimes eat mustard packets to settle the hunger feeling in my stomache. it's getting to the point where i'm about to do something illegal for some cash and i don't want to do that. I can't ask my parents for money because they've given me enough. and i don't really have anything worth selling. I sold some DVDs already, and i sold some jewelry that had setimental value, but not enough monetary value.
So maybe there are a few people here willing to help me out before i do something dumb. Or, that can make some suggestions.

Last summer, my husband was approached by an HR director for a company in NC. They had semi-serious interviews -- then, at the last minute, the company decided to go with a contractor.
So now a month ago, this same lady calls him back. She says the contractor didn't work out, and they want to talk with him again. He has FOUR interviews over the phone, they fly him down to meet him in person, and have THREE more interviews. The HR director sends him a benefits package and they start talking about relocation.
After the seventh interview, this company mysterious disappears. They won't return his calls or anything. Then he gets a cheesy automated email that they're not going to hire him
What would you do?
