The other morning Mia Farrow was on The Martha Stewart Show, speaking about her work with children in Africa. They were discussing how people could help. Someone in the audience asked how you could trust that your donation actually arrived at the right destination. Ms. Farrow replied that the following organizations were trustworthy:

1 UNICEF
2 Genocide Intervention
3 Save Darfur
4 Save the Children

She also said that it was in times like this that we are judged by what we do .... or do
not do. A very nice statement, don't you think?

My son was born 13 months ago. A complete surprise. Never wanting to bare my own, I was planning on adopting.. then the IUD Fails? Well anyhow, I wanted to take care of a child that needed help, because I could. There are so many unwanted, uncared for children out there right now, I just feel we should try fix the mess that's already been made rather than add to it. thoughts?

I do try hard not to be better than everyone I know, but it gets really hard. I have to pretend that I don't know what they are about to say, as they are really the little people of the planet. I must say I don't have many friends these days, and the ones I do have hate me. I think Spock is of a less evolved species as well. Please try not to worship me if you can and don't judge your reaction to me too harshly as you are only a being of the smaller brain and can't help it.

I'm getting tired of them talking about how educated she is . Just cause your book smart don't mean that your emotions are cut off from becoming a Fatal Attraction chic. The world is so use to seeing white trash in trailor parks fighting on COPs and the same with seeing minority's acting a fool on tv . But now its a so say well to do white lady getting PSYCHO. I'm so tired of listening to "Black comedians" laugh at the way white people dance, speak, work, walk, etc.; yet if a "White" comedian says anything about them, the comedian is critisized and called a racist. I am also tired of hearing young blacks talk about being "slaves" they were never slaves, their ancestors were and that wrong has been corrected. My ancestors didn't own slaves. WHAT DO YOU THINK A BLIND PERSON WOULD EXPERIENCE SEEING FOR THE FIRST TIME?

We know that not all blind people were always blind, but those who were born blind, what do you think their reaction would be? It's hard enough for them to understand vision because they can't experience it, so do you think they would be scared? Do you think they would know this new sensation that they were experiencing is something we take for granted called vision? Do you think they would immediately recognize that a person is a person, a chair is a chair, and a car is a car, just by looking at it? Please assume that no one was explaining it to them, they had to figure it out. Thanks for your opinion!

I am not suggesting getting wasted, but about being social, enjoying the taste like a fine cigar. Our up tight PC world is very intolerant to what we do on your down time. What do you think of this scenario, say you go some place where it's legal to smoke, then you fly home and the next day your number comes up in the company pee test lottery. You’re out of a job. You’re labeled as a druggy with no hope. So because of someone else's opinion of what is acceptable, I can't enjoy a little down time over the weekend that sucks.

My first semester in college I got into the room late and got stuck with a stuck up ***** who stunk up the room and blamed it on me, left her crap all over the room, and yelled at me for no reason. She also stole one of my books, and even stalked me a couple of times. As you can imagine I did not want to talk to her, so I never did. And then she had the nerve to ask me why when she acts like that. Now I am a junior in college and I have a gay sophmore roomate...she seems to act okay, but we really have nothing in common and I don't know what to say to her with her being gay, so I don't even talk to her. And it does feel wierd being in the room and not talking to her. But I try not to let it bother me. But like is it normal/okay not to talk to your roomate? Like has anyone else ever been in this situation? I just don't want to feel like I should be talking to her because she doesn't talk to me either.
