I blame the parents. Even looking on this site at the bigoted, sexist and racist remarks, is it any wonder if kids grow up with these attitudes. Brainless people should be sterilised by law but it seems that these are the ones that breed like rabbits.

parents are the ones to blame, along with TV, pop songs and lack of discipline in schools. The breakdown of family life - step families and various relationships get complicated. there's alot of anger and hurt in many kids as they see relationsihps fail around them.
There's no one single cause but a culmination of factors.
Each generation since the war has displayed an erosion in manners and I suppose therefore that each generation of parents lets their children get away with a bit more than they were.
This is a huge genralisation I know - my children are amazingly well mannered (aged 24 and 26 now) and I'm proud of them.

becuase were i the 21st century
its new times and its horrid times
although we are sooo advantaged to even live i the age we do, the social standards have lowerd unfortunatly
people are becomming more and more shallow and its sick realy these types of things make kids grow up without Dads or a proper family but were not all bad, kids like me (all modesty aside) are very charming and dont get into trouble its a fair ammount that are asbo's but no one will do anything about it
their more concerned with crap like , Big brother racism and Tony blair leaving (the story behind) who gives a crap about those,we have realy issues here that need to be sorted

Lack of guidance from parents... children are being taught a humanistic philosophy of life in schools which basically says that the individual is most important and that whatever feels good is what should be pursued. They have no discipline nor do they care about others.

Because each generation would have nothing to moan about if the generation after them wasn't rude, uneducated and ungrateful!
Whenever I read something like this I hear my Fathers voice telling me that 'by 1970, no one will be able to remember who the Beatles were!'
What goes around comes around! LOL

Because they are not taught that it's important to be nice to people, and that manners are the little courtesies that make a huge difference.

Because their role models are people like Paris Hilton, the typical 'spoiled rich kid who gets everything' type. They don't have to worry about their parents spanking them or anything, because maybe some of the parents lost their nerve, or just don't want to do something like that. They'll grow out of it once they move out and have to fend for themselves, but really, why are kids so immature? Duh, because they're KIDS. :P

Parents are too loose. They seem to be afraid to parent. Spoil the child? Not in MY house! You earn what you get. That's how life is!
