Best Greetings

The other morning Mia Farrow was on The Martha Stewart Show, speaking about her work with children in Africa. They were discussing how people could help. Someone in the audience asked how you could trust that your donation actually arrived at the right destination. Ms. Farrow replied that the following organizations were trustworthy:

1 UNICEF
2 Genocide Intervention
3 Save Darfur
4 Save the Children

She also said that it was in times like this that we are judged by what we do .... or do
not do. A very nice statement, don't you think?

Thank you and
Peace & Love

For Heaven's sake, if you can't help, don't punish yourself for it ... it is the
people who really can help .... and don't bother .... that is what hurts

The last respondent is being naive-contraceptive aids are not always readily available in poor countries. Even in our so called affluent society, many babies are unplanned.

If I wasn't able to afford food for myself then you can bet that I would never bring a child into this world to watch it suffer and die. Why are people so ignorant in todays world that they don't know how babies are created?

I'm sorry, but I think organizations like these don't force people to take personal responsibility for their own actions.

Those that have children that they can't feed are the ones that should face judgment vs what I do or don't do to help.
