I'm dead broke right now and since I'm going to grad school full time, and doing classroom observations during the day, it's hard to get a job that can work around my schedule. But my need for some extra cash is becoming very large. I've been buying gas with the pennies I've been saving for years. I found out the hard way that they won't accept pennies unless they are rolled. But this is rediculous. I can't afford a cup of coffee in the morning. I sometimes eat mustard packets to settle the hunger feeling in my stomache. it's getting to the point where i'm about to do something illegal for some cash and i don't want to do that. I can't ask my parents for money because they've given me enough. and i don't really have anything worth selling. I sold some DVDs already, and i sold some jewelry that had setimental value, but not enough monetary value.
So maybe there are a few people here willing to help me out before i do something dumb. Or, that can make some suggestions.

see if you can be a Teaching Assistant at your school. since you are a grad student. they usually hire their grad students to help the undergraduates in office hours and discussions. Some schools pay well for this and it's easy. go into the undergrad office and talk to the secretery and see what she says. she will probably refer you to one of the professors who might be looking for some help.

If you're going to grad school try looking at Scholorships.com. Usually there's a pretty good amount of businesses that will offer a scholorship. And, if you tell your situation to a business in the field that you're looking for, most of the time they'll hire you as long as you're presentable and are honest about what you want to do. If you're lucky, they might even offer to help with your grad school. I'm not going to spend money, but I hope these suggestions gave you a few ideas of what to do.

Here's my suggestion/advice.
If you do something dumb you will never get to finish school.
Part of growing up is looking at what the consequences of our actions are.
You may have to go back home.....get a job and go to the community college in the evenings.
