im half black and half white, so as a result, i am light skin. i have black friends and some tell me they wish they were light like me. i dont even like being this light. i like the sun cuz it gives me a tan. i prefer to be brown skin. its beautiful to me. there's nothing wrong with light, but why be light if you're brown or black. i look in the mirror everyday and wonder why i cant be darker. when i was younger, my brown skinned friends tells all of us not to put on baby oil before going in the sun because it would darken our skins. i didnt know how true that was, but i started doing that everyday and i still do it up to this point. i dred the winter because its hard to get sun.

i still wonder what's so good about light skin. im not criticizing light skin. its nice too, but in my opinion, i prefer the tanner and brown look. why do some black women want to be light. its not that great. ppl like me have to worry more about skin cancer. i wish i didnt have to worry about that.

im dead serious, explain to me. i hear it all the time at school how " '**** a' aint racist" but yet, why is it derived from the word "nigge r" and completley different, out of all the sounds and words in the english language and yet with the chance to make a different word.... the word "**** a" is used more than necessary, its quite annoying and for my first question on here, i dont want to seem racist. since the whole ghetto accent B.S thing... of course it'll be the same word since there is no "er" pronociation..... while were on it how did ask become axe?

It would seem to me that if it cost $30,000 to adopt a baby, that is the same thing as buying a baby. If there are so many children all over the world with no parents and dying and starving to death because of lack of food and medical care, that anyone that was not a child abuser or pediphile should be able to adopt them for free and use the money they would have used on the adoption to care for the child.

Question Details: We are releasing people who abuse Children in a sexual manner and jailing those who look at pictures, because they are all covered by the term Paedophile. Surely seperate terms to differentiate between dangerous hands on nutter perverts like the pervert who removed my previous question, vis a vis those who just look at pictures would focus peoples minds on the relative seriousness of the two offences.

What I mean here is the way teens are easily sucked into anything their "cool" friends say. These "cool" friends are just crappy teenagers who have parents with no common sense to discipline them correctly. You know how teens look now-a-days (they're skinny looking, long pants, wrongly worn hats, dark clothing thinking that they are gothic or something, etc...). At least the not-so-handsome teens are nice and have respect for others. Even though I'm a teen and am handsome (at least that what I've heard), I don't get sucked into such nonsense because I know the difference between right and wrong. I escaped it by going to home-schooling and standing tall (my on decision not my parents). So I ask you, why do teen boys like to bully others and try to get all the girls while the teen girls like to flirt with the "bad ones".

When talking to some men at a church, they would often mention this statement "you can get my phone number from so and so". I would often think to myself. Why can't you just give me your own number here and now. Why do I need to get it from another person?

Before I ask, I wanna know your thoughts. Why do people say this even though they're perfectly capable of writing down the number, right then and there? Its weird.

I know the word Inhumane is subjective, but where does one draw the line between acceptable human behavior and just plain craziness… everyday on the news we hear more and more tragic scenarios that are caused by humans. Ruthless things we do to each other. It’s so common now that the shock factor is diminishing… We see more and more bad news on the news we just sigh and go on with our everyday lives. Would one consider sitting on your butt and turning the channel after hearing a woman just micro waved her infant inhumane or just too bad? I asked this question because my mother and I were talking about Spike lee’s documentary “When the Levees Broke”. There was a scene in the documentary were the rescuers had to rescue people by fishing them out of the water and placing them on a bride that connected New Orleans to a neighboring town. And when the bride was full of people they began to walk into the next town for refuge. And instead of the people accepting them with open arms; the Sherriff of the town gathered his men and blocked the entrance to the town by lining up them shoulder to shoulder and gave them guns to keep these people out. And they threatened to shoot them if they persisted. They rejected hundreds and hundreds of cold, wet, hungry people... no water to drink to food no clothes people who were in pain and hurting already. And whatever condition that town was in the people were surly doing worse… The town may have been in bad shape as well but brutal denial does not help the suffering. And that’s just one example things like that are happening all the time. “Inhumane” Are Brutal acts, which people are simply incapable of doing, happening everyday so much that the word’s definition is beginning to no longer exist? Humans are acting more animalistic than most animals, where do we draw the line?

I'm just wondering what you find feminine. Because everyone has different thoughts on what it is. I mean i want to be a really feminine girl. Like gentle, soft, demure, and kind. But that's not what everyone sees as femine 'like a very petite asian women or a very curvy african woman' I find both so very feminine but they're different. ^_^
