I live in US so I am 6 hours ahead. Do people in Britain still go clubbing and to pubs or has it become more of a private thing?

Are there any small towns left in the USA that are "Mayberry" type towns? Places where people and shops are pretty much as they were back in the 60"s?

I'd be interested in knowing which towns have not changed any or very little in the past 4 decades. It's probably just a dream to think there's places where the pace is slow, people are friendly, and business owners still believed in old fashioned customer service.

Watching the Andy Griffith Show made me think again of living in such a place, so I thought I would ask here to see what I could find out from others. :-)

We no longer need meat in our diet yet the average person consumes over 80 animal carcass' a year. Meat is bad for our health, the environment and the animals. Foods like hamburgers and hot dogs are bad for us and yet we consume them at a record pace. They are eaten only for entertainment. It takes lots of oil, water and 15 lbs of grain to make 1 lb of meat. It takes a lot of plant life just to produce a little bit of meat. Are our forks the worst weapons of mass destruction ever known? Can we really treat other beings badly because we think they are sub human? In history we treated the Jews, women and slaves badly because we thought of them as sub human but now we know better. Will we know better someday as to how we treat innocent animals?

Would you expect to be dismissed immediately as some sort of pervert/nutter.
Or would you like to think they would consider that you are, confident, outgoing, upfront, nothing to hide(literally) and content with your lot and give you a fair hearing.
I am asking because I have an interview next week and wonder if it's worth my while to buy one of those cheap suits from Asda. Thanks

Just got back from shopping. Saw a woman flashing her cleavage. She saw me staring and told me off. I told her "If you don't want a man to look, don't give a man the view!" The manager (a woman) told me I needed to leave the store. Why do women show so much and get so mad if men look? I'm not married so I look if they stick it out there.

saying they had a murderer after them, and this being the truth, would you let that stranger in to protect them, knowing full well the new dangers you place yourself in?

I would change the color of the White House every month. First would be blue, then pink. I would also invite people in my list to the White House to play in the bowling alley, have a party, etc. It would be cool to be the BOSS!

Hi! I'm a good-looking 24 yr old, 6'1, and dress well.. but when I go out to meet girls, they usually look away/ walk by with a pissed off look or something.. In short, they look like they don't want to meet anyone. How do I meet girls, then? In bars, even in a college town, many look really mean, especially the hotter ones.
PLEASE, SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY
