saying they had a murderer after them, and this being the truth, would you let that stranger in to protect them, knowing full well the new dangers you place yourself in?

There is obviously 2 important factors you all showed in your answers. The factor is race, and gender. Although many of you may deny it, it is much easier to let in a white woman, than to let in a middle eastern man.

No, because I have a child. But I would call the police for them.

I would tell them through to door, I'll call the police. There are 2 reasons I would never let him in.

1) I wouldn't trust anyone in that situation

2) If there really was a murderer after them, I'm not taking tthe chance of letting them in too .

I'd call the police for them for inside.

How would you know it was the truth unless it was a police officer that was flollowing him or her, that is the only time I would let a stranger into my home in these conditions.

Actually I did. The person stayed with me for a week. I hardly knew this person, and whether or not she was delusional, I'll never know, but she believed someone was going to kill her. I had no knowledge if this was true or not, but I hid her because it was my duty concerning her.

Yes and then call the police. Get out my gun and figure they are going to have a hard time getting past me.
What do you think soldiers do everyday?

I keep guns in the house. Sure, I'd let him in... but that shotgun would be pointed at him until the danger had passed.

That's a hard question to answer.. I would want to help but then again, I have kids so I have to think about their safety too. I guess you would have to go by instincts on that one!!

I would prefer to die protecting someone than to allow that person to die because I was a self-centered coward.
