Would you expect to be dismissed immediately as some sort of pervert/nutter.
Or would you like to think they would consider that you are, confident, outgoing, upfront, nothing to hide(literally) and content with your lot and give you a fair hearing.
I am asking because I have an interview next week and wonder if it's worth my while to buy one of those cheap suits from Asda. Thanks

Well my dear you've made an old woman smile. Well at the moment im looking to hire a male home help, I myself will be conducting the interviews. Now if you came to my house in a cheap Asda suit i'm afraid you would not get the job, but if you came showing all your charms i would hire you immediately! I'm not saying i'm a dirty old woman but my husband is long dead and i have to get my cheap thrills somewhere! The conditions of the job would be that you cleaned my house naked at all times, I would make sure on especially cold days that my heating was on full blast, as there's nothing worse than someone shrivelling up on the job! Would you like to come for an interview tomorrow say about 2 o'clock?

lol I really don't think you would get as far as the interview room unless you had a coat of some sort on to cover the naked body.

Get back with us next week after the interview and let us know how it went.

Sorry, don't know what AsDa is but you could go to good will to look for a suit.

Good point.
I interview people, not a great deal but I have to think about how they look, manner themselves, communicate.
As for them coming in naked really I don't care. If they shine through with confidents and are most of all enthusiastic able to do the job. They have got the job, just reminding them,Aye Billy put some clothes on Monday before you come to work.
Another point I want you to think about is this...?
I work with concrete,90% of the time you are covered in the stuff,So if a guy turns up in scruffy clothes,Does that tell me He's a good grafter,Or he's just walked of site.....!....I've had guys turn up in a suite which impressed me considering the job involved,So that's at least a good start.
Long time ago I went for a job interview, the lady explained the job,the rules and regulations, there was something I didn't agree with.I explained to the lady that I feel that is wrong,Why and How to better things,I don't know if this was a test or that's how things are,Anyway I still got the job.
Most of all that impresses me is enthusiasm, not over the top but keen, honest, willing.
I have a guy now named Steve,The guy drives me nuts,he clumsy bumps into things,No common sense,Ill swear he's deaf .So why do I employ him.......? He's never late, always shows up for work and enthusiastic.
That's a task in itself Getting them to come to work.
Id take the suite option Joe,cheap it maybe, how can they tell its cheap It may be expensive to others,I wouldnt be impressed if you shown up in a Georgi Armani or paul smith suite,id be thinking this guy is a achiever and will want to move on in the future with another company, maybe hes here to learn the ropes. Then again I could be wrong.
One more thing, If you are going semi naked at least wear a Bowler
Hat, Dickie Bow, G-String,White Socks and Black Shoes.

Good luck.
john

you go with to study the organization and performance a sequence of questions prepared about the route of the organization, contemporary and destiny product/provider alternatives, perspectives on rising technologies that ought to boost or harm the organization's contemporary position interior the marketplace, etc. also, if it is the perfect interviewer (HR), ask about the area - even if it is a newly created position, or if it is because someone left. If it is an latest position that thye're filling, then ask why the previous human being vacated the area - the reply (left organization, promoted from interior, etc.) provide you with some perception into what to assume in case you're taking the job. Interviewers, for the most area, do not care WHAT you're asking. they're more desirable interested in sorting out what factor of attempt you're keen to positioned into some thing. once you're going to 0.5-*** it interior the interview (through no longer being prepared), then they are going to assume they could be able to assume the same factor of attempt out of you in the experience that they gave you the job.

It really depends on the job. Part of life is to decide on your way of dealing with things, getting a job is part of it.
To turn up for a job as a camp site for naturists in a suite is a tad overdressed.

They might see you as either: pervert, weirdo or a clown, too silly to be serious about your work. Unless you have an interview as an erotic dancer, porno actor, or stand up comedian, then I would wear some real clothes.

Depends whether you want the job. You might, of course, be arrested. I'm judgemental and proud of it.
