Why is it that so many ppl have a problem with people on welfare? Most of the women and men on welfare are required to work in order to keep there benefits unless they have a very young infant and then one in the house is allowed to stay with the baby for a short period of time. Having been in the so called welfare system when i was younger i get very offended when i hear ppl say "welfare moms" or "welfare pigs" not everyone can go to school and get a good job. some ppl have no family or trust funds to help them when they are older. true some ppl abuse the system but with out it many hard working familes would starve. Food stamps and medicare are a neccesity in this country for many americans who struggle with the low paying jobs. Ifyou have never had to be on welfare consider yourself lucky becuse alot of ppl in this country are on some sort of public assistance.

I found these two dvds to be very interesting and they kind of spurred me to thinking in a new way? Has anyone seen them and if so what did you think? Do you find it hard to think this way in our society??? How do you access the power that each of us have to take control of our lives while still leaving room for the universe to do its part???

What is wrong with everyone nowadays?

Why do they all seem to think they are qualified to do things far beyond their technical capabilities?

This is to do with the learning culture in schools as a consequence of a child-centred system which admits no failure. People think they can all be pop stars, high court judges, brilliant TV personalities or infinitely more competent heads of state without ever putting in the necessary work or having natural ability.

This is the result of social utopianism which believes humanity can be genetically and socially engineered to contradict the lessons of history.

have you heard? the NEW seven wonders of the world will be (as of july 7th 2007) Pedra of jordan, the Great Wall of China, the Sydney Opera House, the Statue of Liberty, the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, and the Acropolis in Athens! they are completely excluding the Pyramids of Giza (the only last wonder of the world left from the original group) because Egypt is upset with this publicity stunt and want nothing to do with this...what are your thoughts on this topic?

My dad says if you put a dead body in a pig pen. the pigs will eat it. He says that they will not try to eat you while you are alive cause we are bigger but they would kill a little kid and eat it. Is this true?

One time I accuse my aunt of stiling a watch because she was the only one that went to visit us the day. She came to are houses and I show her the watch and she toll me that she like it and she ask me where I but it I tool her that I but it at Wal-Mart. Then she toll me she was going to buy one.
The next they when I was going to school I remember that I but a watch and I waned to take it to school but I wouldn’t find it the fist thing I thought it was that my aunt took it. I went and tell my mom that my aunt took my watch she said that she saw when she put it at the table I went and look at the table but there was nothing and I was so mad at her.
Two day latter she came to our house and she was wearing a watch just like my and I ask her did you took my watch and she said no Martha I left it at the table and I went to Wal-Mark and I but one just like yours. then I went to the table and there was any thing. like 5 day later I found it on my little brother toy and I tool my aunt that I was very sorry
