Absolutely not.
Think about the nature of a male - lets take this down to the primitive. A male would hunt and fish to provide for his family; He will protect them. His body and instinct is to do those things and to make women pregnant. period.
A woman and the nature of the female, is to choose the male most capable of providing to her and her children and to protect them. She is about her family, and keeping it together.
The only real time I believe a woman would want to "cheat" on her husband is if he isn't caring for them on a practical level or on an emotional one. Then she would look for another.
Men I think have to fight off the feelings of sex probably quite a lot during a day - its just the nature of them.
Their bodies are saying: tag her! get that pregnant! Do it again!!
You would be putting your foot down if you tell him that its either he remains monogomous or else hits the pike, because you don't feel like getting aids. But going out and deliberatelly cheating just because they do won't solve anything at all.

Actually, the last time I heard, women cheated more than men. They simply don't get caught as often.
And no, it's not putting our foot down; it's stooping to a level of immaturity and lack of self control that everyone should try to avoid.
