copy and paste this in WORD or WORKS on your computer. Then go to TOOLS and check SPELL CHECK.

To improve on spelling, read more. Read magazines, newspapers, comic books, stories, anything. That's the easiest way to learn and the best way to stay in touch with your world.

One time I accused my aunt of stealing a watch because she was the only one that came to visit us that day. She came to our house and I showed her the watch.

She told me that she liked it and asked me where I bought it. I told her that I bought it at Wal-Mart. She said she was going to buy one.

The next [day? week? year? who knows], when I was going to school, I remembered that I bought a watch, and I wanted to take it to school, but I couldn't find it.

The first thing I thought was that my aunt took it.

I went and told my mom that my aunt took my watch.

She said that she saw -- I can't tell what you're trying to say here; who put it on the table? all I can do is guess -- her put it on the table.

I looked, but it wasn't there.

I was so mad at her.

Two days later, she came to our house, wearing a watch just like mine. I asked her if she took my watch.

She said, "No, Martha. I left it on the table. Then I went to Wal Mart and bought one just like it."

I went to the table, and there was nothing there.

About five days later, I found it with my little brother's toys. I told my aunt I was very sorry.

What annoys me is while human beings produce questions that are purely lawsuits approximately others' use of language, without understand-how that there are diverse dialects, registers and idiosyncratic methods of speaking and writing, and that the appropriateness of applying a undeniable sort relies upon on the context; and the context of Y!a skill it fairly is quite plenty continually going to be casual and individuals will write issues in a rush. area of the "undertaking" is the plain loss of care taken in formulating a precise coherent sentence, as an occasion. i might desire that the comparable people who're chastised for his or her undesirable grammar and spelling may well be extra careful while writing an essay for college or college, lest they acquire undesirable grades purely for his or her loss of diligence. The examine i'm doing this 365 days is observing literacy practices in extra desirable than purely one area, ie. workstation/information superhighway use, schoolwork etc. I assume to locate that language is in many situations adapted for the context, and every physique is frequently on top of problems with diverse registers and understand the pragmatics of (in)formality. i think of a few human beings on right here might do nicely to understand that a "undesirable" use of grammar and spelling on Y!A is by way of no skill the top of the international, and there are bigger matters to whinge approximately...
