I wish I could do more to help out our Earth. I honestly would not want to bring children into this world with everything that is going on. I'm scared that my children will not have the resources that we take for granted; fossil fuels and water for example. What will beecome of this planet with all of our trash and pollution.

This has always been a big dream of mine. My dad is very broad-minded and I am sure he will agree, but my mom is very very narrow minded. She has a very pessimistic view of life and thinks that the entertainment industry is nothing but a farce and nobody makes any name in there except for sons of actors and film directors. She wants me to take engeneering and become a computer engineer. I dont even have the courage to go to her and tell her what I want to do. I am just in the 8th standard, what do I do?

Recently, I asked my Mum to get me some drawers from Ikea... I already have a closet but it only has one shelf and I don't like hanging my clothes from coat hangers as it's slow and annoying. Upon hearing this, my Dad and my older Sister said that I should be buying my furniture because I'm 17 and I have a job. It's true, I am 17 and I do have a job... but is it REALLY expected of a 17 year old kid to buy his own FURNITURE to put his own CLOTHES in? Personally I think they have issues... what does everyone else think?

It just seems that when Jesus, or God or Christianity is in the media, the feeling seems to be one of "dont force your views on me or the rest of the world" yet other religious groups are freely allowed or seemly freely allowed to express themselves without all of the attack whether it is local, national or international. For instance with Christmas. Why is the word Christmas an offense to some? It is simply the story of two parents who had a baby. It is a holiday promoting peace and goodwill toward others. What part is offensive? Are babies offensive? are parents offensive? Is peace and goodwill offensive? Help me understand!

Almost every question and answer I see on this site is poorly written, poorly spelled, and ungrammatical. The sad part about this is: the site has spell check! Does anyone know how to spell these days? Are kids just not learning anything in school anymore? Please provide a detailed response so that I may see examples of your proper spelling and grammar (or lack thereof). Thanks.

Ok, 2006 is drawing toward the end and maybe there was something that you wished for New Year's 2006 and it didn't happen or it's just a new wish that you have. So, what is the greatest wish that you have for 2007?

If you were a witness to a brutal murder and the person/persons knew you saw what they did, but you managed to get away and you had the option to go into the witness protection program or have your face surgery redone so that you wouldn't look like the person you was before and you could still lead a normal life, without having to look over your shoulders all the time, which option would you choose. I'm looking at this from a single persons point of view, without a spouse/partner or children. Pardon me, if this question is under the wrong topic, I wasn't quite sure which topic to choose.

I keep reading all these questions regarding Rosie O'Donnell and this "feud" with Donald Trump. The bulk of the answers are ignorant, rude and insulting. If you don't like her, fine...everyone is entitled to their opinion, but seriously, is it really necessary to be so rude and insulting? Is she really hurting you? Is her being overweight really bothering you? Is her sexual orientation really affecting your life? I hardly think so.

Rosie O'Donnell speaks her mind. So does everyone else. Get off her case! I'm pretty sure "Freedom of Speech" ensures she's allowed an opinion. If you don't like it, well, that's your perogative, but geez....is it really necessary to show your complete lack of manners and utter ignorance by being so crude and insulting to her?

It's really annoying to continue reading comments about her being "fat", "loud-mouthed", "a lesbo", "a bull dyke" and a "know-it-all obnoxious man wanna be." Does it make all of you feel better to say this stuff??

I once posted a question about smoking pot. Almost everyone called me a loser stoner pothead. I then wondered how many of those people drank alcohol. If you look down on people who smoke pot and you drink alcohol, are you a hypocrite?
