If you were a witness to a brutal murder and the person/persons knew you saw what they did, but you managed to get away and you had the option to go into the witness protection program or have your face surgery redone so that you wouldn't look like the person you was before and you could still lead a normal life, without having to look over your shoulders all the time, which option would you choose. I'm looking at this from a single persons point of view, without a spouse/partner or children. Pardon me, if this question is under the wrong topic, I wasn't quite sure which topic to choose.

I would choose the surgery. Even if I did not have to be concerned about a spouse and children, I have other loved ones that I could not bear to be permanently separated from.

I hate needles, so surgery is out. Besides, even if you changed your face, they would still be able to find you.
