I wish I could do more to help out our Earth. I honestly would not want to bring children into this world with everything that is going on. I'm scared that my children will not have the resources that we take for granted; fossil fuels and water for example. What will beecome of this planet with all of our trash and pollution.

Many people felt exactly the same way in the late '60s/early '70s. The world's still here, and it's actually cleaner now than it was then. The ozone layer is thicker than it has been since we started measuring it. Wind and solar power are becoming viable electricity options. Electric and hybrid vehicles are pointing toward the eventual end of oil dependence. We have better clean water standards and more effective ways of filtering water than ever before.

It's good that you care about the environment. Let your concern lead you to help us keep cleaning it up so that when you are ready to have children, you can bring them into an even more beautiful world than the one you grew up in.

No more resources are yet to be discovered. There are those whom would like to convince you otherwise, so that they can control the ones of which you are aware. Just like salemen that create a sense of urgency, "BUY NOW!!! WHILE THE SUPPLY LAST.!!!"

Change is continuous and inevitible. When Humans have not, it is usually the result of Humans restricting the access to the resource from other Humans.

You know what?! I had this recurring dream about me being 80 years old and the world is so short of food and resources that people around me resort to cannibalism. And guess who's first on the dinner plate? The women, children and old people like me!

Another proof that the end of life on this planet as we know it is coming fast. We must have faith and do what we can. Recycle as much as you can and just don't buy some of those things that add to our landfills and our pollution!

There is ALWAYS something that you can do, it's just a matter of how much effort you can muster and how passionately you feel about it. I also feel bad about things like this but I am a lazy little **** so I won't be doing anything soon that requires too much effort.
