Society gives benefits to marriage because marriage gives benefits to society. Therefore, the burden of proof must rest upon the advocates of homosexual unions to demonstrate that such unions benefit society (not just the individuals involved) in the same way and to the same degree as marriage between a man and a woman.

Because homosexual unions never result in natural procreation and never provide children with both a mother and a father, this is a burden they simply cannot meet.

What societal benefits does HETEROSEXUAL ONLY marriage serve when less than half the US population is married?

What does having the ability to produce children have to do with the validity of marriage?
And does that mean that childless heterosexual couples are not entitled to a valid marriage?

for the majority not like white people...its not like me or my parents had ANYTHING to do with slavery back then, im a christian are you telling me that just because white people sent you into slavery the rest of white people over time are racists and approved things like that..that in itself is stupid to treat people like that. Yes i know that sometimes white people get treated better at somethings in life but am i the jerk...no the jerk is the rich old white guy who was a racist when he was younger and he doesnt want to give a job to a black person...also i watched this show called Black White on spike i think and they did an experiment of race and the black people on that show really i think gave black people a bad name because the black guy went to a shoe store as a white person and somebody put a shoe on for him..he was so shocked, and basically thought that every white person gets this type of treatment...yeah im white and nobody has ever put my shoes on for me either.

Okay, go ahead and call me a prude, but I am fifteen years old and I have NEVER once in my life had any desire to wear anything that exposed my shoulders, midriff, thighs, etc. I do have a "nice" body, but I just don't see any point in exposing more than I consider to be decent. Yet, with my peer group, their lives seem to revolve around dressing in a way that reveals as much skin as possible. Why is this?

Whenever someone says to me things like "You're pretty", "You're beautiful", or "You're gorgeous", it does nothing for me at all. Now, I don't consider myself ugly or anything like that. It's just that I much prefer to hear things like "You're smart" or "You did a good job on that project." To me a real, true compliment is what you do or are about. Is it normal for me to feel this way? And how do I encourage the do-and-about compliments without hurting the other's feelings?

Ok, Im writing this screenplay, and do not have much experience at actual burials. My question is this. At a burial, is there any standard prayer, or phrase, that would be used by the priest at the close (or as the casket is about to be placed in the ground)?
Also, when the service is over, is it customary for the family and friends to approach the casket and say any final words? Is the casket actually placed in the ground and covered during the burial or is that done once the mourning guests have left? Its a fictional story if that cheers anyone up :)

I hope you can help.

My neighbours keep looking at me and it's freaking me out!

Often when I'm looking over the Garden wall or simply standing in their driveway they look at me through their cutrains as if I wouldn't know that's what they're doing!!!

It really annoys me and I tried banging on their window to make them stop but they just pretend they aren't in.

Does anyone know what to do about this? it's really childish.
Also... does anyone know how to find someone that has recently moved? I had previous problems with my last neighbour.

Lastly - what is good to remove blood stains?

I have noticed on "Yahoo Answers" that some people make pretty irresponsible comments, be it against homeless people, the poor, the sick?

Beyond race or religion, borders, orientation or gender...
Whether you think it will make a difference in the world or not, will you ask/hope for a better future?
Not specifically about wars, or environment or money...
For humanity onto itself, appreciation and respect of ourselves and each other...will you take a minute and bother to care?

This has been a universal problem. These mothers can be good to their sons, but really bad to their daughters-in-law.
Why? There might be some exceptions, but generally this is true. Can there be a solution? This problem is prevailing from ages. We should put an end to this.
