I can't give you much details because I was born in 1940, but from the pictures of the time I would say " Those were the days! ". I would suggest to do a research on wikipedia and enter "1920" and you will probably see pictures of that time and what happened for that year at any particular date. You can check the years after and do the same. You will be amazed at all the informations you can get from there!

they were called the roaring 20's. flappers was style of dance.the depression was also during the 20's.Go to any old age home they could help you. my grandmother Anne says that during the depression she was the one who invented the peanut butter and jelly-sandwich. it was her turn to make dinner it was all they had.
