Would you compromise your beliefs/faith/values to attain success?
Some of our friends or even relatives have done some sort of unacceptable behaviors to maintain their status symbol in the society. But we are not one of them, right?

As an adult have you ever cried because of physical pain?
I had never cried because of physical pain and I thought I would have never till sometime ago (at 38) after stubbing my toes against a hidden stone: the pain was sudden, unexpected and excruciating! I hate to show my weakness in front of other people, especially if younger then me, so I tried very hard to fight back the tears. For some moments I succeeded, really fighting very hard, but after a while the pain became more then excruciating and I couldn't help bursting into tears. Result: three toes and some small bones broken... but I felt ashamed to look such a crybaby!

Let me know if you had similar experiences and what do you think of my reaction, please.

I MOST CERTAINLY WON'T FLY THIS CARRIER AGAIN. British Airways has been accused of appalling double standards after admitting Muslim staff may be allowed to wear veils - just weeks after it sent a Christian woman home - (without pay...!) - for wearing a cross.

Check-in worker Nadia Eweida has been on unpaid leave for a month after the airline banned her from wearing her tiny cross on a chain necklace over her uniform.

BA has since added further insult to injury by saying she may return to work wearing her cross - but only "IF she accepts a back room job where she will have no contact with the public." Furthermore, a BA spokesman has confirmed that "any request from stewardesses or other uniformed staff to wear a full-face NIQAB - (the Muslim veil) - will be given serious consideration."

MEANWHILE...! - a Muslim teacher, suspended from her job for refusing to remove her full-face niqab - is STILL retained by the school while absent - BUT on FULL-PAY...! - SINCE FEBRUARY...!!!

America is the continent. (North, Central and South (i.e., Mexico...Estados Unidos de Mejico (United States of Mexico). Most countries are devided into different states, provinces, departments... Anyone who is from the american continent is american. Like anyone from the European countries are europeans, or from the Asian...or African continents... Correct me... if I'm incorrect, but it seems every country has a name. What about the so refered as the United States of what name??? The country between Canada and the Estados of Mejico> United States of Mexico; I guess one could refer to Mexico as the U.S.M .
This is not to upset anyone...it's just an observation...and somewhat a little wonder.... I'm amazed on how people get so defensive on so little...

Has anyone any experience of marrying a foreign bride? I am a British male living in Northern Ireland, hoping to marry my South African girlfriend in the next year or so. I hope to (eventually) bring her to live here permanently in Britain. What are the main legal considerations, legal delays, etc and also (heaven forbid) what problems arise if after a short period of time the marriage does not work?.. would she get half my assets/etc just like a standard marriage/divorce like here in the UK? I simply don't want to get myself into a minefield of legal problems should things not work out as we expect. Also would it be better/easier getting married there or here, or do we have to marry in both countries? Also any other considerations that I have not mentioned would be very useful to hear. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
