I have no tolerance for violence and gory movies. I have walked out on them. I tend to take movies too seriously and can't separate it from reality.
It genuinely disturbs me that people find violence and gore so entertaining though!

I find them appalling. I dont get a kick out of seeing someones head chopped off. Its like they have to use the blood and gore to make the bad story line seem better. I love horror movies, but ghost scary, not blood scary. Its just ridiculous!

Because they act out our wildest fears and nightmares and we somewhere in our hearts feel that watching the movies and the adrenaline rush will leave us better prepared for any unfortunate painful even that comes oour way somehow. Plus, the will to fight back the evil somehow gives us the encouragement to take charge of our lives. Blood and gore is still and will always be the the worst nightmares of humankind and we somehow characters reacting to them. It is human psychology that we form instant connections when our worst fears come alive, be it in movies or real lives.

I think some people like to get scared, go into fantasy land, feel there heart jump and adrenaline flow. Back to the stone age when animals were a real danger to humans, you know?

i love them so much, i just watched the amitville horror tonight, it was great, but anyway, idk, i like them cause they show what can happen, i guess, my favroites are the saw series, i have thought of that **** long before the moveies came out.....but not with the intencion!!! lol

Because with blood it becomes sexy. And if you are watching any vampire film, sex is in there somewhere.

I think it is sick. Why would anyone want to watch them? It's nothing but gore.
