I began learning how to speak Spanish a couple of years ago, and I've become quite good at it. I can hold long conversations and I can understand almost anything. But I've met some hostility and people who resent that I have learned so much, and dislike me because of my color.
My class was arranging a trip to Spain, and I was told I shouldn't go because the society is very racist, classist, and sexist, and as an African-American, I'd be rejected.
I recently read an article about a soccer event in Colombia where black players were humiliated.
I feel like I should stop learning Spanish because I feel betrayed, but I really like the language. What should I do?

most shops now operate a strict policy stating that you must not have your hood up whilst you are in the shop should muslims be made to remove their yashmaks as this covers more of their face than a hood does on a normal person

also what are your views on hoodies are we evil or are we just the same as everybody else?

LOL HUH!?!
Anyways..

I have never been in a real relationship.
I guess that isn't hard to believe since i'm only 15...but still..
anyways i do sorta wanna have a boyfriend. Well theres this guy who's sorta cute but not really my type 'cuz he acts really like thugish and he has a grill...lol. like he's not really bad becasue he comes to school every day and stuff. he's used to always like mess with me last year becasue he thought i was cute and like comment about my body and stuff...i never thought he would like me like for a girlfriend.
anyways the other day he text messaged me and was like "whats up with me and you"? and i just said, "i dont know..." so we talked about like nothing for a while and bassically every question he asked me i said i dont know...he was like "do you like my looks" and i was like "yeah" anywayy..um he asked me out to be his girlfriend and like i was confused since i liked him i guess but not really for a boyfriend, but i said i would go out with him. so now we are going out and...it just doesnt feel right. i think we moved into things too fast. i dont wanna break up in the first 2 days but i like another guy now...should i just start getting to know the other guy and when i really like him break up with my current "bf"?

I recieved a disturbing comment today from a lady, to a previous question I asked. I replied to her in an email, and I recieved a reply back to the effect of her implicating that I was a hoe, had no class and was immature. Keep this in mind, I do not know this woman, and have never conversed with her until today, yet she feels it is reasonable to form opinions of someone she has never met. My dilema is why? Why do women feel the need to be this way?

and only the girl when she becomes pregnant as a teenager. Does society fail to realize that it takes two? This was more prevalent back in the 50's and 60's, but it still goes on today. A girl needs support at this time, not condemnation, and if people would be more supportive, maybe we would have less instances of babies in garbage cans, or abandoned at hospitals. What is your opinion?

I have been invited to join this cult with 70 members. It includes singles, couples, and some families. They live in a 5 million dollar mansion by a beautiful lake. All the food, shelter, and sex you can have is completely free anytime, anywhere, and with anyone in the cult. You can leave anytime, but you have to obey the cult leader while you are in. You can keep your existing money, but all of your current income goes to the cult. You can work outside, or stay in and the leader will find you things to do. Would you join it? Ask me, if interested.
