Why do we constantly obsess about time-keeping, the bus is late, "time is money" etc when it's probably leading us to an early grave?

Do all societies view time like this?!

an essay on the 5 people I'd most like to sit down with, it was actually a really fun thing to do, I chose God, Oprah, Pope John Paul (yes I know but he didn't specify living) Jack Nicholson, and Elvis.

Who would you chose and why?

I'm looking for serious advice here.I did some things in my local area that were very wrong(but I have no prison record or anything) and people see me as "the local nutter".I've finally beaten drugs now but people are still scared of me.Should I leave my area and start off in a hostel somewhere else?Should I change my name by deed poll? What on earth should I do?Any suggestions welcome.I really didn't realise how bad my reputation was till I gave up my bad behaviour. It's very widespread for a few miles around!

Have any of you been walking down the street, minding your own business (you know as you do), then just get hit in the face by something peculier? It happened to a colleague at work. He was hit by a flying banana, which was thrown out of the window of a passing car!! The weirdest part was that it left an imprint on his face in the shape of a banana too!! : )

What the strangest thing you've been hit by? Don't say, by a smooth criminal!! : ) lol
